Hello!And also a question!

Hi everybody! I am new to the group! =) I'm Josie, or Jo. I'm not a composer, but I like music a lot. It's nice to meet all of you! I'm probably not going to be super active here I don't think coz life and stuff. But Ive heard good things about you guys from one of my friends so I decided to join the group!

I have a question for you. What is your favorite part about being involved in music?

For me,I really like whe n you're playing/singing in a group together. Everybody is in harmony together. and choirs and bands and etcetera can become like a family. But what about you guys? What is your favorite thing?

Are Vaccines Actually Bad?

Well, we wanted some fresh debate topics, and as far as I can tell, this one's never been done on this group before, so let's see what people think.

I personally believe that there is literally no reason to not vaccinate for 99% of people, and anyone who decides to go unvaccinated is putting themselves and others at risk. I especially have a distaste for those who do not vaccinate their children.

Help? I can't think of any melodies

I've been having a really hard time making music recently. The only piece I've been able to work on is a chorale for piano duet, except that I don't have access to it right now. I've been having some serious trouble with coming up with musical ideas and I have no idea how to help myself. I've always struggled with creating melodies specifically, but I can't seem to do anything at all. Any ideas how I can jog my brain? This is a very uncomfortable mindset

Trumpet Player

in Trumpet

Hey everyone!

So, I am a trumpet player (this is my 3rd year playing) who will be starting to play in the high school marching band next year! I would love to meet a few trumpet players who are around the same age and skill level as me. If thats you, lets talk!

Count until a Pro user comments

Inspired the game over at MyAnimeList (http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1518596), let's count upwards and see how far we can go until a count breaker (listed below) comments and makes us start over.
(The title is kept for historical significance. Count breakers were Pro users with 200+ followers in Season 1)

Rules:
- A player may only post once every 24 hours** or after another player has posted, whichever comes first.
- A post by a count breaker (listed below) restarts the count (that post is 0).
- The count must go up in order (no missing numbers).
- A counter who holds the last post of a run of at least 10 becomes a place holder.
- A counter can only hold one place at a time. If they win a run that is higher than their record on the board, their record is updated; otherwise, the run is ignored and not placed.***
- Top 3 place holders become count breakers next season (this includes staff).
- The season restarts every 12 pages.
- A run is allowed to spill into the next season, up to a maximum of one page. The new count breakers start as soon as the count is broken or when the count reaches the second page, whichever comes first.*
- MuseScore staff (those with the "staff" badge) count as normal, but they can additionally nullify a count breaker's 0 post and turning it into a regular count post by posting immediately after it (i.e. with no post in between). The staff's post should be x+2, where x is the number in the post immediately before the count was broken.****

* Introduced in Season 3
** Introduced in Season 6
*** Introduced in Season 7
**** Introduced in Season 10

As a courtesy, if your post is wrong because someone posted before you, edit your post instead of deleting it.

New secret project I’m working on

I guess it’s not that secret anymore then, but I wanted to say that.

Different sections of the piece will be based on data I collected from different users. If you know what it is good for you don’t spoil it plz. The users contained will be as follows (this list is unbiased as I chose everyone I collected data from) : Rebecca Y, miscalaneous02, Astronix2, SupremeLemonBread, The Musical Rattlesnake, Mr Peabody, Lizzapie, Okely Dokely, Pianodudette, and Shellcrush.

edit now Jaybird1 too
Ok thanks for reading

Embedded MuseScore player has lost the full-screen icon and F shortcut

Sorry, but the latest iteration of the MuseScore embedded player does not take any account of users who display a miniature "thumbnail" of the player.  A small player is useful to show links to multiple scores on a single web page.

The previous player had a clear "square" icon to make the score full-screen. But now the F shortcut has been disabled,  and the "square" icon has disappeared. So the full-screen option is only accessible through the 3-dots menu - an extra unnecessary step.

How is an end-user to access full screen viewing when the iframe is defined with "height=60"?  See example HTML page here:
 https://rootham.org/sacred.html

Thanks for any help.
