Hello dear woodwinds,

There are pieces for double bass and wind ensembles already, but they are rather difficult to listen to, so I've been arranging two pieces originally for double bass and piano; one of them to woodwind quintet, and the other one to concert band. I really wish I'd found this website earlier. It's awesome! Does anyone have any pieces they'd like to recommend? I have been playing the flute for 6 years and would love to have something more challenging than what is being offered in band. Unfortunately I only have a standard flute with none of the extra keys that advanced flutes have, so I can't go very high, but I know how to play some high level pieces. I really just want to do a cool solo for fun but I have no idea where to start. Can you help me?

In my case I would like to have the Woodblocks in the Drum Part of my masterpiece. The reason is, that they should come rarely in some Fill ins and could be played by the Drummer himself.
Or in another case it would be nice, if I could have a Percussion part with Tambourine, Cow Bell, Bongos and Woodblocks.

Is this possible? And does someone know, how it could be possible?

Hello. I am a "Beginner" 7th Grade Flute player. I have been playing flute for about a year now and I'm pretty good. I need some music that is for a 7th grade flutist. Every time I try to find one, its way too advanced. Thank you guys.

I’m looking for some nice music if you could give so suggestions that would be great!
(I’m not too advanced, I’m in 8th grade and I have 3 years experience ((I’m in the 7th grade band since I moved, since I wasn’t there last year and it was a requirement to be in the 7th grade class before the 8th grade class, if that really makes a difference))

Hey everyone and anyone!
I'm looking to write some battery parts for practice.
Whether it be for a Marching Show or Indoor Show, I want to get better as a composer.
I can send you the end result of what I wrote if you want, but this is more of a personal thing.
Anything you send me will be kept personal and will not be reuploaded or shown to anyone else.

I'm in one of the first ensembles to play the piece, and if you can get your hands on it, you need to play it. It's a very Clarinet-heavy work, with an Oboe Solo (Clarinets play a second, hidden part, so I don't know if it's a solo), A trumpet solo, a Flute solo, and a Sax Quartet. Music for a gentler time indeed...

It might not be released yet, just look for the Clinton High School Wind Ensemble's performance of it in March. It may be released, I don't know. Just keep a look out.
