Took a Few days for us to write.
This group is meant as a gathering place for aficionados of Zappa and other related groups. Share transcriptions. Share arrangements. Talk about mustaches (and other stuff). Try to share new stuff (just make sure it's really good). Don't get hurt.
Approved people to share transcriptions/arrangements of (subject to change):
Frank Zappa, Dweezil Zappa, Steve Vai, George Duke, Captain Beefheart, and Jean-Luc Ponty.
Hi guys, this is kind of my first real attempt at making a cover. I don't really know what to do with this thing. I want to improve it but I don't really know how. Anyone? Link is here:
Feedback is appreciated for later projects. Thanks!
I just finished working on this piece today, “Romance”; any feedback is appreciated!
Also, does anyone know how to create those brackets that connect two notes from the bass/treble clef? I wanted to make some where I wanted the LH to catch a few notes in the treble clef, but I can’t find what I’m looking for.
I've never touched a violin, viola or a cello, let alone played one. However, there are some emotions that can only be conveyed through their sound. That's why I made this piece.
It is a tribute to my deceased grandfather and was made on the same day of his death. Hope you enjoy it.
hello this group is for all composers of all instruments and anything is welcome here but just a few rules:
1. keep you comments clean no swearing
2. don't bully, if you see a score you don't like please don't leave negative comments.
(if you think of any other rules i should add tell me :)
Have any questions about this group? Ask me in this discussion or by private email and I'll answer them.
i've been meaning to ask this for a while, but what is patrick doing in the group icon?
Post anything other here as long as it follows the rules. Have fun composing!
like best friends brother, make it shine or shut up and dance
i will be changing my profile picture evry week if i feel like it.
This is a piece I wrote and transcribed just today, I want to know what everyone thinks and how I can improve as a composer. Thank you for your time.
