Halloween Сollection: keep on posting scores!

We've checked the submitted scores and posted them to the Halloween set! We're still accepting your sheet music suggestions by October 22nd, 15:00 (GMT+2), but decided to change the rules a bit:

We've edited the list of sheet music to focus on Halloween-themed popular songs. We want to help all the musicians gigging at Halloween parties by providing scores of great tunes like "Thriller", "I Put a Spell On You" and more.

Moving forward, we will only accept the scores from this list. If you submit a well-notated score (either your own or found somewhere on, we'll add it to our collection. Once a score from this list is submitted, we'll remove its title from the list so don't delay. Keep calm, trick-or-treat and carry on!

Please post links to the scores you want to submit to our collection in comments to this discussion - we are looking only through the scores that are posted here.

Foreign Instruments???

So, I was wondering, if there are any other people in RSA that play what some would call foreign instruments. Basically ones from other countries, or even bizarre instruments that might not have come from another country, but ones that not many people have heard of or seen. (Viola doesn't count.)

I play erhu and dizi, both Chinese.

Looking to Collaborate with Arrangers for the 2019 season

So hey guys, I posted a while back, and got to work with some great arrangers on projects this year(some videos from these arrangers come out this month even). Anyway, while I'm looking like I'm set for this year, I'd like to try to recruit 3-4 arrangers to join us for next year. We're reducing our regular workload to no more than 3 full arrangements a month, and I'm supplementing the rest of the month with my own one-man-band stuff...I'm looking to find people earlier this time, as opposed to in the middle of the season, because I'm interested in seeing/hearing about some music that you may be keen to arrange yourself that you think would suit my orchestra. This year was quite selfish in the fact that it was basically all stuff I wanted to do, and in some regards that's fair, but with more time at our disposal and a committed team of arrangers that doesn't rotate in and out, I think there is room for more give and take. I could use the help and it lifts a burden off my shoulders and allows me to focus my energies elsewhere and it allows the music to sometimes get a fresh touch or perspective which is also nice. If you're interested in arranging Video Game, Anime, and Film Score tunes for a full live Youtube orchestra, please contact me here(I promise I will check this exact thread regularly at least for the full month of October), and let's see about putting something together for next year!

Instrumentation at our disposal:
Elec Basses 4-6 string
Upright Bass
Acoustic & Electric Guitars
French Horn
Tenor Trombone
Tenor Sax
Bass Clarinet
Latin Percussion

Everything else needed I'll be able to cover on Aerophone or Keytar thanks to my endorsement with a company that makes quite expensive MIDI instruments from live samples.

Anyway, that's it for me. Thanks for your time. I look forward to working with some or all of you who reach out. Thanks. :-)

In the space of 2 quarter notes am attempting to write a 7 note tuplet for a snare part that matches up with a quarter note triplet  on a bass part.  It's a little off.  The Ctrl 3 and Ctrl 7 functions work but the results don't match.  I can play it but the music doesn't match up.  Any help is appreciated.

I am leaving MuseScore

Hello all, Today I will be officially leaving MuseScore. I want to think everyone on RSA for there great humor and personalities but the time has come. The primary reason I am leaving is because the MuseScore community does not appreciate atonal music: what I plan to continue writing. Thank you all for your kindness.

As a goodbye present, my greatest piece yet:
