Introduce Yourself! :)

Does anyone else just want to have one master discussion for introductions? No? Just me? Welp.

I think, so that we keep things organized, we should have a central discussion for introductions! That way we can have everyone's pronouns and other important info all in one location for easy reference later on. :) So if anyone has yet to introduce themselves in the group, or if you would like to reintroduce yourself, do it here! I'll start in the comments below. :D

Soooo, as our lovely group admins have said, PLEASE make sure to include your pronouns, so that we don't misgender you! ^^ You're also welcome to share your sexual/romantic orientation, gender, and other more specific labels if you feel comfortable doing so, but don't feel pressured into doing so if you do not wish to. I would also love to hear about how you came across music/MuseScore/this group, if you want to share anything more about yourself, and feel free to share a random fact about yourself or anything, really! xD

musescore college

wouldnt it be nice if musescore had a group devoted to educating members on music theory, arranging, orchestration...
yeah, I know that some high school classes use musescore for teaching music but that isnt exactly what I mean here. I mean a place totally here at musescore where members could make intelligent critical educated helpful comments about music.
there are certainly members who are very well educated in music who could help members out with their music, exchange helpful comments, a place where people could actually learn about music rather than the hit or miss experimentation alot of us do. I know I am just talking into the wind, but still, sigh.....oh well.....

Video Game Track

Hello everyone!

I just finished my first piece that wasn't just for flute or recorder, haha.

I'm applying as a video game design major this year, and in my portfolio I wanted to submit some compositions that could potentially end up in a video game. Hence, this piece.

I could imagine it as the title screen song or when you're strolling around a town, but any other concepts are welcome. I tried to make it suitable enough to track indefinitely, which is why I put a repeat sign that goes back to measure one.

Please tell me what you think / what I could improve on in the comments - any critique would be welcome.

Note - I don't play the piano, so any tips with that part especially would be wonderful.

Thanks so much!
