Second transcription from an instrumental piano in the kdrama Big (2012).
I'm having trouble writing music for Drumset. The drums should play something like Miles Davis' All Blues from Kind of Blue Album. 3/4, brushes, swing. What has to be written that the drummer knows what to play.
Thanks for your help.
I just completed my arrangement of this piece yesterday. Does it sound like the piece in the fairy tail anime? Feedback would be great! Thanks!
There's this game on a forum I'm on, and it's super fun. All you have to do is: slam/drag (don't break!) your fingers across the keyboard and make a sentence out of the string of letters in the post above you.
Now here's the sentence:
Sodas don't flippin steal living rooms shining free ski kebab jams.
As long as nothing's explicit, have fun!
Here's for the first reply:
uh...judges? Are you still here lol xD
Anyway just a reminder to you guys to get your results in as soon as you can, since we can announce the winner as soon as you do so :P
Here's the rubric:
10 automatic points for following the contest criteria
10 points for being pleasant to listen to
5 points for having interesting melodies, chords, etc. (though in this context the "chords" part doesn't really apply)
5 points for creativity/uniqueness (or trying new stuff)
1 bonus point for being the first submission :P (though if you rush it you might not score as high on the above criteria :P)
1 bonus point for having the piece be exactly 2 mins long
Total: 30 points (though it is possible to get 31/30 or 32/30)
Submissions are listed in the original contest discussion, in the order they were submitted.
Please pm me your results once you're done! The winner will be the person who has the highest mean score.
Hey guys! Feel free to vent, ramble, throw a pity party or whatever. I want to know how you guys are doing in this wonderful thing called life, so throw it at me. Or not, I guess you could just gently toss it at me. Either one works.
I'm looking for some feedback on my musics.
Every critique and review are accepted except, agressive ones.
Hi, I compose an impromptu in g minor. Please provide some comments and feedbacks.
I'm just curious. What's in the works? Are you mastering an instrument, learning to play a new one, trying to grow as an arranger/composer? Any upcoming music classes you're excited about? Goals? Plans? Post 'em below; maybe we can help keep each other on task. :)
I'm not sure if this fall under anime, if it doesn't I'm very sorry.
This is the first piece I ever tried transcribing (though its taken longer to finalize than my other pieces), and some feedback would be nice.
So at my high school, we have our own orchestra (and band, but Orchestra's better). We only have Violin, Viola, and Cello. So when people talk about Violins and Cellos I simply say: "Violins are too high, Cellos are too low, and Violas are the cream of the Oreo." What's usually the favorite part of the Oreo? The cream! Do you agree?
