Do any of you guys know what i should spend on a beginner violin.
A pianist desperately practicing non-stop for a recital in two weeks.
Stung by a wasp.
On my f*cking pinky.
I think it was a bad idea to try to learn the violin. So, my reason for saying that is this: Back in 2016, I fell off an exercise ball and hit my neck on a wooden arm-rest on a couch. We happen to have a RN and a Physical Therapist at our house. I think it scared the RN when I fell. I laid so still because I thought that I had broken my neck. Anyway, my neck was quite injured but it wasn't broken. I thought it had healed up, but ever since January of this year, when I started the violin, I've had extreme neck problems. I literally have to crack/snap my neck around 10-20 times a day. I was talking to some people and we are thinking that the angle in which you hold a violin was too much for my neck. What do you guys think?
(I probably should have posted this in the violin group, but, I didn't want to. LOL!)
Basically, I'm being a copy-cat. Only thing different from the one in RSA and this one, is this is for riddles only.
So, for those of you who don't know the rules, I will try to explain. There will be 10 riddles per round. If you answer a riddle correctly, you will get a point! You are allowed to guess as many times as you want. The person that has the most points by the end of the round, wins that round!
Also, only Phia and I will post the riddles. Please, do not try to post your own because I will delete them. If you want to post riddles, you must do it in a different discussion.
Hi. I am looking for some causal piano songs to play; can think of any. Could anyone please suggest a few songs to play? (also not to hard song xD)
That is, if you don't mind telling.
I have allergies to dust, stainless steel when it's in contact with water, and sodium lauryl sulfate, and chlorine.
goes well with everything.
Add other memes here and general weird discussion idk....
Right now, I feel exhausted, somewhat lightheaded, and like I will have a major mood change at any second...
Hi everyone I’m new here and I just wanted to say hi and that I’m Jewish and 14 and not Christian but I respect you all. Just say hi and let the convo begin
What the title says ;)
Who do you think the most professional/experienced person on musescore is?
I'm excited to finally announce our fourth competition!
This time, compose a duet for contrabassoon and piccolo. (I got the idea from a music lecture I watched, and thought it would make for a fun competition theme.)
- All of the notes must be within the respective instruments range
- The total length can be anywhere between 1 and 5 minutes long
- Comment a link to your submission below
- Each user may only submit one entry
- Voting will begin on June 1st, 2019
Have fun! :)
I know this is a little personal! I know we have a lot of different age groups, some in high school, and some 16,teens, and grown ups! I will tell you my age, but you’ll think I’m too young to be here, and too young to be in charge of some groups! I’m 11 years old, in 6th grade, and some of you know that I’m in a relationship, but who cares if I’m too young(my younger sister that’s who!) You don’t have to share your age here if you don’t want to!
I don’t think we’ll keep score, just play for funzies 😂
Well, I don't believe it is real :P
Anyway what do you all think.
Do you have it? I sorta do, still developing. I can play mostly melodies by ear, I wasn't born with it. Though, is it possible to be born with perfect pitch? And does that automatically make you want to be a musician? My hope is to have the ability to listen to just about anything then play it, like Daniel Thrasher did on a live stream. (Check out his YouTube channel if you don't know who he is, he is really awesome!) I believe arranging songs by ear helps develop perfect pitch so for those who haven't tried that, please do. It's honestly better to arrange something for yourself than to ask someone else to do it for you. If you can't seem to figure it out after trying then you should ask someone but, seriously, it's really fun to do more than just compose. If you haven't done either...why are you here? I'm kidding lol! But try to make something, it really is fun!
Yea I admit, it's kinda morbid but I was talking about this topic with some friends and it was acc hilarious. So here's the question: If someone told you they are going to kill you, how and when would you prefer to die? I'll let a couple people answer before I let out my secret...
(Owner/admins if this is inappropriate, feel free to just tell me...I completely understand lol)
I play Bb clarinet what would be the next step up for a Clarinetist?
Has there ever been a song or a piece that you have played in school band or Symphonic Band where the piccolo part during full FORTE Tutti sections was just so EPPICCC that you wished that there were more than 2 Piccolo players currently playing at once in your Symphonic Band at that moment!! If so name the piece.
The piece I played Piccolo in is called "The Witch and the Saint" by Steven Reineke
