Hello all, this is my first post.
All i'm asking is if i put a score of a solo nylon acoustic guitar piece in to musecore 3 how do i get musescore to add tab below? I've noticed many score/tab hybrids have the notes on the thinnest strings are on the tab when playing on the wound strings gives it enough body, is there a way around this automatically rather than having to do it manually? Also, i read of the ability to put straight up tablature in and have musescore add a score, how is this possible?
The score i have is Farewell by Sergio Assad, and i'd like to turn the free tab of Schnee in Istanbul by Carlo Domeniconi in to a tab/score hybrid as found on classclef.
Thanks very much.
Hello all, this is my first post.
Hey guys, I'm new. I was wondering if you could help put some lyrics I've written to some music. I will be adding more to the sheet but bear with me please. Thank you so much and I look forward to your ideas.
What are your best repertoire songs? I'm interested in seeing, so put your voice type, main style and your favourite repertoire songs
I'm soprano, a musical theatre actress and my fave repertoire songs are The Movie In My Mind (Miss Saigon), She Used To Be Mine(Waitress), Habanera (Carmen) and I Could Have Danced All Night (My Fair Lady)
I sing Soprano.
Does anyone here have a PPL? I was considering getting one...
A bit impossible
Unless you're insane
how was your day?
This page was created for guitar players and any music related for the guitar. Style and genre is not important as long as the music posted is guitar related. However, scores that do include the guitar MUST actually be playable on the guitar or the score will be removed. No offense is intended toward anyone who uses the guitar for composition and tonal purposes only BUT the Everything Guitar page is intended for Guitarist and Guitar Composers who are interested in researching ,sharing, and discovering guitar oriented music that is actually playable on the guitar itself. If these guidelines are not met the piece will be removed. These rules do NOT apply concerning seemingly impossible virtuoso techniques with proper practice and instruction to accomplish. These rules apply to guitar pieces or guitar parts within scores that include chord structures legitimately impossible to execute on the instrument. If anyone feels as though their piece has been wrongfully removed due to these guidelines you may resubmit the piece with the fingering necessary to accomplish such techniques. Using notes within the range of the guitar doesn't make the combinations of those notes or chords playable. Please do not take these rules as a message to not compose for the guitar if you are not a guitarist. DO take this message as an invitation to seek council How to properly notate passages for the guitar if you are not a guitar player. Thanks again to all the members who support this group.
this is the best form of my mary had a little lamb parody (it sounds dumb, but it actually sis one of my better pieces)
Check it out!
I like putting low bass parts in choral pieces. Like my motet I put in the sheet music section. Any suggestions are welcome.
I have been having this composers block for about a week now. I usually embrace it and just move on to composing something else, but this is a 50 follower special composition that I have been working on.
Whats the story on arranging someone elses tune , for example a Bruno Mars song. Do you have to get permission first? I saw someone mention a tune from jungle book. That tune has to belong to someone or some publisher.
I reconstructed a piece I played a few years ago but I just don't know the composer any more
