Carroll Indoor Percussion 2020 Season

Hey, y'all! So the reason I haven't been posting a lot is that I am currently in the middle of my own indoor percussion season. As some of you might know, I play marimba in the front ensemble and my rehearsals are on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays while competitions are usually on Saturday. Our next competition is at WGI Dallas on March 7. So my schedule is jam-packed with rehearsals and competitions. I'll try to post as much as I can and hopefully after the indoor season, I'll be back on track. Thank you guys and have a great day!

Bozza - En Foret BACKING TRACK

Hey guys! Just taking advantage of the new unlimited score upload feature and decided to upload this piano backing track for Eugene Bozza's "En Foret." THIS IS NOT A CLEAN, LEGIBLE SCORE; this is meant to be played in the background of your solo if you are unable to find an accompanist (which is exactly the situation I found myself in 3 years ago when I made this). Let me know if it comes in handy for any of you! Feel free to mess around with the tempos in order to fit your personal musical expression in the piece.

[Winner Announcement!] Musecorps Composition Competition #2 - End of the Decade!

Hello, everyone!

This competition, overall, was very close! I had a really tough time picking which entry I believed deserved the win this time around. That being said, there were no bad submissions! It was really anyone’s game.

The winner of the second competition is...

Skyth21, with their arrangement of Joji’s Slow Dancing in the Dark!

Once Skyth21 reaches out to me, I’ll gift them the month subscription to MuseScore Pro.

I think this competition went fairly well. The only thing that puts me off from doing another would be the overall small number of submissions. Let me know if there are any things I can do to improve these going forward!
