This group is intended to expand the solo and duet percussion repertoire. You can upload any percussion pieces to this group as long as they only need one or two players to perform it. This includes mallet solos/duet, snare solos/etudes, multi-percussion solos, timpani solos, and many more. The more, the better. I'll also allow pieces that feature a percussion soloist (Ex: Bob Becker's Bye Bye Medley and Emmanuel Séjourné's Marimba Concerto).
Welcome to the official Classical Music Contest Group.
Any can upload their score to a contest as long as it fits into the contest description. You can also make your own contests as long as it is not a spam. Do not spam your compositions into a contest. Anyone who spams or trolls will be kicked out of the group. So please do not spam. You can only upload 3 or less scores per contest. Follow these rules & you can be in this group. Tell your friends, family, even people you don't know, about this group. But wait. There's more, join within the next 15 minutes & you will become a group admin, just pay separate processing & HANDELing. I hope you enjoy this group.
You can also post general discussions (as long as they are not spam). You can ask questions, upload scores, ask for advice, ex. Just keep it family-friendly.
When you post scores you must tell who composed it. DO NOT SPAM!
Basic Comunity Rules:
Make sure that when you post a discussion that it is family-friendly & is not spam.
Hey. I don't really have mush to say, so just join my group if you love drums!
Hiya! Fia here, aka lareinedeslapins ! Welcome to an absolute haven of choral trash - erm, I mean, choral music! :)
I'm a big fan of choral music and other vocal stuff, but I've noticed that there isn't too much of a choral music base on MuseScore. There just isn't enough vocal music of any sort on this site—from pop to art song to chorale—really, and I'm hoping that we can change that!
Anything and everything choir—or any other sort of vocal music—is welcomed here! Talk about voice parts, favorite composers, favorite voicings, choir memes, good songs, etc...and, of course, advertise your own choral music and choral arrangements! And who knows - if we get enough people involved, maybe we could even make our own virtual choir...winkwinknudgenudge. ;D (And maybe if we get enough members we could hold choral composing and arranging competitions, too!)
I would also be open to advertising MuseScore vocal composers and artists as well, so message me if you would like to be featured here! Maybe we'll whip up a little "interview"-type thingie we can do or something, and we can have a vocalist/composer of the week or something. :D
ANY choir-related or voice-related sheet music may be posted in here! Choral pieces, art songs, a cappella arrangements, musical theatre, etc. The one thing I ask is that you avoid adding or advertising any sheet music without vocals in it to this group. I won't kick you from the group or anything, but any non-vocal sheet music or advertisements may or may not suspiciously disappear....
There aren't really any steadfast crazy rules or anything, but I do have a couple of general etiquette and guidelines that I ask you to try and follow: be polite to each other, respect each other and each others' opinions, avoid needless fighting, and have fun!
This group welcomes all to post, share, comment on, etc percussion ensemble scores. All types of percussion ensemble pieces are invited!
The League of Percussion Ensemble Fanatics mission is to write 200 percussion ensemble scores (battery and pit) before 2022.
Please comply with these instructions:
1. No cussing or inappropriate language is allowed in this group
2. No sharing personal information
3. No submitting music that you did not put moderate effort into writing
4. ABSOLUTELY NO politics, religion, racism and such (do that somewhere else please)
Thank you for helping us achieve this goal.
A place for everyone to add and discuss their vocal compositions, original or arrangements.
Greetings Everyone!!!! This group will provide mallet solos and ensembles for mallet players across the globe. Everyone is welcome to join whether you play a mallet instrument or not. If you want to add a mallet solo or ensemble to this group, be my guest. If you have any questions about this group or just have a question about music, feel free to start a discussion.
Hello! I'm lareinedeslapins, a handbell ringer/arranger/composer and overall handbell enthusiast! :)
I've noticed that handbells is only a very small corner of the music world. :( This makes me sad, since handbells are an absolutely beautiful instrument. So, here I am, trying to add to that corner and make the handbell community just a little bigger, as well as unite us together to share advice on ringing handbells, writing for handbells, or just life in general!
Feel free to post any scores or discussions related to handbells (or even not related to handbells - just please no spam or anything hateful)! If you have any good soundfonts, tips, favorite songs, upcoming concerts - anything - I'm sure that we would love to hear about it. :) Likewise, if you have any questions, I (and no doubt the others) would love to try to answer them.
We are all here to help each other grow as musicians, so please, no hating, fighting, or anything of that nature. I love you all, and it would be nice if you could all love each other, too. <3
Lastly, have fun, and happy ringing! :D
Violinists from around the world can come to share their arrangements and assist others with their scores, as well as collaborate on ideas, such as movie melodies.
