Cool, complete, advanced Trumpet scores. (Trumpet solo/Trumpet and piano/duet/trio/etc., scores that feature Trumpet as the main/one of the main, lead instruments). Please no orchestra instruments. Always capitalize Trumpet! Lowercase ‘T’ is disrespectful!
We are a group that specialise in writing music that might be a bit avant-garde. We are just a bunch of misfits trying to write some cool unique music. Atonality, ambience, new-age, neo-renaissance, anything and everything is welcome. Just have fun and be kind.
All the melodies/songs from 4 books called "Norges Melodier". First book - first edition, was published in Copenhagen 1875. (With Edvard Grieg as (anonymous!) editor!)
Part I scores are based on edition published in Copenhagen 1922. (In addition to part I) Part II and III was published/added 1910. (Eyvind Alnæs as editor) Part IV was published 1922. (Eyvind Alnæs)
A new edition (two books only) with a selection of 332 of the original 500 melodies was published 1947.
Compared to the scores in the books, I have made corrections where obvious errors occur. The "dynamics" added to the score is in many cases my own as they are not present in the score or not consistent or "unfinished". Also the tempo is "interpreted" in several cases. I have also (where possible) added full names and birth and death year of composers and lyricist. A few scores also have the lyrics added.
(Almost) all scores are private and only available for members of the group.
This group is intended to be a place where Adam Young fans can find and post quality arrangements of his work; as well as give constructive feedback to each other. Feel free to join and post any arrangements that you have!
