Liking Your Own Posts?

I found just now that I was able to like my own post on a Musescore.com discussion. On other websites I frequent that give users the ability to like posts, I do not see that functionality, probably for integrity and honour reasons.

Anyone else believe that removing the ability to like your own posts on this website should be done?

Count until a Pro user comments

Inspired the game over at MyAnimeList (http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1518596), let's count upwards and see how far we can go until a count breaker (listed below) comments and makes us start over.
(The title is kept for historical significance. Count breakers were Pro users with 200+ followers in Season 1)

Rules:
- A player may only post once every 24 hours** or after another player has posted, whichever comes first
- A post by a count breaker (listed below) restarts the count (that post is 0)
- The count must go up in order (no missing numbers)
- A counter who holds the last post of a run of at least 10 becomes a place holder
- A counter can only hold one place at a time. If they win a run that is higher than their record on the board, their record is updated; otherwise, the run is ignored and not placed.***
- Top 3 place holders become count breakers next season
- The season restarts every 12 pages
- A run is allowed to spill into the next season, up to a maximum of one page. The new count breakers start as soon as the count is broken or when the count reaches the second page, whichever comes first.*

* Introduced in Season 3
** Introduced in Season 6
*** Introduced in Season 7

As a courtesy, if your post is wrong because someone posted before you, edit your post instead of deleting it.

I'll start: 1

New Piano Roll Feature on the musescore.com

Today marks the release of MuseScore Piano Roll. Piano Roll is a popular and convenient method to display piano notation in a way that not only simplifies learning a new piece for novice musicians who lack a teacher, it also beautifully visualizes each score.

(Video captured from https://musescore.com/classicman/scores/33715 )

Give it a try by simply clicking on the Piano Roll icon now available on all solo piano scores. Be sure to tell us what you think in Improving MuseScore.com!

All of these improvements are designed to not only make MuseScore.com the most valuable resource online for sharing and discovering great musical works but for learning them as well.

We hope you’ll be as excited about this new feature as we were to create it for you, and as always we look forward to your feedback.

This is just the first of an exciting series of updates and releases for MuseScore PianoRoll; we're already hard at work on improving the experience!

Importing files from "Mozart" Music software

Hi, we're very much enjoying exploring the possibilities of Musescore.
Previously we've used "Mozart" which is good but more limited, so we have a stack of Mz files of arrangements. Does anyone know of a way of importing Mozart files into Musescore? I tried a very simple pdf image of one on the pdf converter on offer here, but it came back as complete gobbledygook, sadly.
Thanks for any help.

FINISH LINE (CHALLENGE ENDS ON THE 20th!)

ALL 12 COMPETITORS ENTER HERE WHEN FINISHED:
Reply with "finished" or "done" once you've finished your score! And Jay or I will give you the permission to post your score here! Please only post the score you made for this group. If you have finished early, go ahead and check in here and post your score! Looking forward to it! Also only 2 day(s) left for you competitors to finish up!

Is creationism a valid scientific theory?

I would say yes, it is.

The definition of a theory is:
" a supposition or a system of ideas intended to explain something, especially one based on general principles independent of the thing to be explained. "

I believe creationism fits this definition for a couple of reasons:
A) It explains the world we live in based on the authority of the bible
B) Its principles are based on beliefs that superseded even the scientific method. Therefore it is not made invalid simply because it has been though to be temporarily 'disproved' by the scientific community.
C) It forms a coherent and logical argument for the way this world works based on the axiom that the bible is a reliable source.

For those who would argue against my view, two possible places to start are:
I) Trying to undermine the authority of the bible, because without its authority the creationism theory is pointless. This is the most effective but also the hardest means of disproving the creationism theory.
II) Disproving the logic behind the creationism theory. This is slightly easier to do but less effective because it does not disprove the authority in which the logic is based on, meaning that a new logical explanation can be formed which fills the gaps in the old one.

I look forward to having a civil conversation with you all ;)
