Winner gets piece promoted
This piano piece I just composed, but I would love to get some feedback from strings players as when I was composing this, I imitated a string orchestra in some parts. Another reason, is so I can get some critique from people who aren't bound by the technicalities and logistics of a keyboard like me. All comments are appreciated!
I have returned with another piece, but this time for a concert band.
Me and my band members are gonna be performing this for one of our concerts and I'd just like to hear feedback from other people.
Please give my concert etude a listen if you'd like!
It's a virtuosic etude in the key of F# Minor. Listen if you'd like!
Hello Clarinet Players! I am from the Piano For Us Group! We (the group admins) are making an Ensemble for lots of players. We need 1 Bb CLARINET player! This is what is going to happen: The Group Admins will assign a song and then we will create a Musescore of it. Once we have done the Musescore score, we will assign the song to everybody! Then everybody has a choice either to video record yourself play or create an audio recording. If you do a video record, when we make our final video and we combine all of the audio, there will your video of you playing! You may wonder, how will we play all on the same beat? Answer: Everybody will have a metronome on and have a earbud in their ear and play along with the Metronome. Everybody will turn in their audio recording and me and Edward and Major and Minor will make the video, OR IF ANYBODY IS A VIDEO EDITOR!! and we MIGHT make a YouTube channel and start our awesome project! Remember if you do not want to be on camera, just audio record yourself! We are going to have so much fun! Please Join! The first PERSON THAT MESSAGE ME THROUGH MUSESCORE are in! here is an idea for a film music contest.
here is the scene:
Supergirl and wonderwoman are in a face-off and are getting ready to fight.
Write themes for each character.
incorporate the themes into suspenseful music to accompany the scene showing them getting ready to fight.
Any one interested?
Deadline is July 31.
Hello again, everyone!
Thank you to everyone who participated in the last competition. If you didn’t see, Kyri_Leal here on MuseScore won the previous composition! Here is the link to their arrangement, if you’d like to check it out:
For this next competition, I figured we would celebrate the end of the decade. Arrange a song from any genre that was released this decade (2010-2019) for a drum corps.
Here are the rules:
- Follow typical drum corps format (3 trumpet, 2 mellophone, 3 baritone, 1-2 tuba)
- You don't need to include percussion, but it might increase your chances of winning if you do so
- Only submit one arrangement per person!
- Arrangement must be at least 1:30 long, but no more than 5:00
- You MUST submit your arrangement by January 22nd, 2020 (Date may change, but it will NOT be any sooner than January 22nd)
When you're ready to enter, just reply to this post with a link to your arrangement.
Unlike the first competition, I am offering more to the winners. On top of posting your arrangement to my YouTube channel, I will be gifting the winner of this competition with a month of MuseScore Pro.
Good luck! If you have any questions, ask me through a reply to my comment below, please. It just makes keeping track of the submissions easier. Thanks!
