I'm just kind of interested to see what the most popular instrument to play is.
I currently play Tenor Trombone, Bass Trombone, Piano, and Clarinet. A friend is currently teaching me tuba and baritone, and another friend is teaching me french horn and trumpet.
If you would like a drum score for a certain song just add it to the discussion and I will act on requests and post them as I get them.
I want to build a large library of drum only scores/notation for everyone to share.
I'm helping someone write an Indoor Percussion Show about Nuclear Fallout. I'm looking for a good speech (preferably a presidential speech) that i can use audio clips of after the fallout. Any ideas? Much appreciated!

Just a reminder that if you're planning on submitting something for the competition, the deadline is tomorrow. A lot of you have commented, but nobody has submitted yet. Is anyone planning on submitting something? And if so, should I push the deadline back by a few days?
Thanks for any feedback!

Would anybody be willing to transcribe Blue Devils 1996 "Club Blue" A Gangsters Chronicle?
I would love some critque
Hello everyone! The 2018 Drum Corps season is over, and I figured it was time for me to start this group up again. Therefore, I've decided to hold the first competition that I talked about in this groups' other post!
This first competition is basically a test. It's just for fun, you could say. If enough people participate, I'll hold another one in the future, and possibly include some level of prizes. Just depends on how many people participate!
I thought we'd start off easy. Create a drum corps style arrangement from any piece (s) written by Ludwig van Beethoven. The arrangement should be longer than one minute in length, but no more than three. You can include percussion if you want, but just brass would be alright too! When you have something completed, post it to MuseScore and post a link to it in a comment on this post. I'll live submissions open until a week from today, Tuesday 9/18 at around 2:00 PM EST.
If you have any comments or questions, leave them below!
As you think about Writing for DrumLine Battle, there's a few rules you'll want to keep in mind:
1. Basically Any Instrument is OK as long as you can carry it on and carry it off. No 23 Octave Marimbas on wheels.
2. There are restrictions on power sources, but guitars and basses with Amps can be used.
3. The performance time needs to be between 90 seconds and 120 seconds. (min half to two minutes).
So, get creative and let's get some music written!
Can someone please make me some easy sheet music for Sweet Home Chicago. Like grade 1 or grade 2 music. I really need it for school. Please

Additional guides are below. More will be added ASAP.
What other guides, tutorials or lessons would you like to see?
What would you like to learn, anything related to percussion, marching, arranging, whatever, that maybe MuseScore could help with?
There are so many great scores for winds on this site that lack percussion parts. I thought I would kick start a group here for wind arrangers looking for battery arrangers to collaborate with.
If you are a wind arranger looking to collab with a percussion arranger, post a link to your score in this thread.
2018 is turning out to be a pretty amazing year. So many groups are SO SO good!
Who are your favorites so far this season?
Who do you think is most improved this year compared to last?
I will post a link in the discussion and I need some feedback on this.
This is an arrangement, not a composition.
This arrangement, "Highlights from The Wizard of Oz", was originally arranged for Concert Band by Micheal Story. Now, it has been arranged by myself for Percussion Ensemble and will be commissioned by the Mt. Lebanon Percussion Ensemble at Recital Night 2019.
Please take a listen and feel free to give me feedback! Have a great day!
I just posted a score using the new MDL drumline and it isnt making any sounds
