In this course we will be studying rhythmic composition and melodic composition. (Harmony and form are covered in Music Composition 2.)

The course is divided into 21 sections. Lectures consist of both video and text.

Concepts and compositional techniques are demonstrated throughout the course with real musical examples (pictures and audio samples).

There are quizzes and music composing assignments at the end of each section aswell as listening assignments.
