Another recent addition to the various 1923 (published June 18th, renewed July 27th) songs entering the public domain. This time it's not just a single piece though, but an entire piano suite!
While Zez Confrey is more remembered for his novelty piano solos, he would occasionally publish more 'experimental' pieces. This is one of the first instances of him doing so, though he would do so again in 1924 with his 'African Suite', and 1925, where he started arranging classical pieces in his own unique style. Beyond that I haven't peered too much into his experimental pieces, though one I find worth mentioning is the 'Moods Of A New Yorker' suite from 1932. Sadly, the date on it means it won't be appearing on here for a long time.
Uploads of the individual pieces in this score may or may not come soon. I wasn't planning on uploading it today, but upon seeing it had gone public domain recently, I couldn't resist.
