Final Fantasy VI - Dancing Mad

For String Orchestra

Uploaded on Jul 23, 2016

"Well, usually when you make a song it's two to three minutes in length, you have the introduction, the main part and the ending. But... for 'Dancing Mad' I didn't really put a stop on it, so I kept on working on it, working on it, working on it and that really let the song... you know... I got to play around with it for something like fourteen minutes, and it's really one of my favorites."
—Nobuo Uematsu

Superb work dude. I don't suppose you could do this one from FFXIV? I play the organ IRL and would love to be able to actually play this. I lack the skills to write my own sheet music... It starts to loop at about 3m. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfYxJDdN75Y
You're an inspiration. I don't think I'll ever get this good in my life. I should know, I'm already in my mid years. Lol. This is wonderful.
I also wanna leave this link here to my favorite arrangement of this piece: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-O-9U_QKhgA It's what inspired this arrangement in the first place!
The surprise is at 9:37 for the timestamp.
Alright, I made some significant updates to this score. First I added new audio to this using a different soundfont. Next I also updated the score itself. The notation is cleaner and I got rid of the bass synthesizer. I've also added a special surprise in the middle of the 4th Tier.
Wow, this is amazing. It's a lot more close to the original than my arrangement: https://musescore.com/user/32814/scores/2546651
Thank you! I really like yours! It's got a really nice cinematic feel to it.
I'm using this as a reference for part of a DCI show (you'll get credited as a reference, as Nobuo Uematsu actually composed the song, but you'll still get credit somewhere)
Sweet, already started on it. Hopefully, I'm gonna post a WIP version within a week or so.
