Theworstsingerever11 • Apr 15, 2019 I am about to do a little "concert" for my school and I was wondering if anyone would want to gives some tips to sound better Comments Zoeyrocks Make sure to keep the inside of your mouth open for a more resonant sound. Also make sure that when you breathe, you breathe from your stomach. This will give you a more supported sound. Good luck at your concert! Kat3937 Don't get overwhelmed by the crowd (always works for me) Ashlyn Karr Practice the music. Once you are confident in your ability to play the song, make sure to pay attention to dynamics and keeping a steady tempo. monet24601 When inhaling, focus the air into your diaphragm and make sure ever time you take in air, you take in as much as possible. Turn around the air immediately and exhale, holding air will make your sound uneven and clouded. When exhaling blow a steady stream of air into your instrument, do not put more air at the front or end of your notes, try to keep it as even as possible. Also, when ending notes try to make the endings smooth as well as the starts by doing tonguing exercises before hand. If you do vibrato you should do that too! I hope you have fun pinksilly3 try doing a duo with someone!! there is no number in the word "Band". Also try and do songs that people will know. It will get them engaged better!
