help me out

So every year on valentines day and the day after my school hosts a coffeehouse in the library for kids to express themselves through music or poetry and whatever hour you have English your class goes down and watches other students perform or its live streamed by the publications group if ya can't make it. You have to audition before and its always something my friends and I have been in interested in. We can't seem to find any good, chill songs to play. Its called coffeehouse for a reason. So if anyone can send me any scores with singing, piano, some kind of percussion and strings that would be great!!

The Blue Flamingo

I wrote this piece exactly 3 weeks ago on the Sunday before I had to go back to work from a 2 week holiday.

The thought of returning to work was keeping me awake. I could't sleep. So in between restless tosses & turns in bed, I got up and wrote this little beauty in a little over an hour.

I feel that the A section captured exactly how I felt. A little nighttime melancholy, a little longing for more time off, and some dread of returning to work.

The B section, I tried to use the piece as a form of therapy in which I draw on optimism and hope.

It's a simple piece, but I realy do love it.

Help Please

I cant find help for a simple question. I find this very frustrating. When adding or deleting Repeats( Bar Line or others) in multi stave scores it adds or deletes from all the staves. Obviously each instrument in some cases require different repeats HOW DO I ADD OR DELETE ONLY ONE STAVE REPEATS WITHOUT AFFECTING THE OTHER STAVE> Thankssssss..........

Question about title pages

So I looked this up online and still couldn't find any clear answers.  I love the beautiful title pages many composers post for their pieces.  My question is, how do I do that on my own compositions?  Thank you in advance!

Do you need professional quality sound files of your pieces?

Hi MuseScore. As a Musescorian it has come to my attention that a lot of people want or need high quality files of their score. As a mixer myself I would love to provide you with high quality recordings.

My charges:

1 or 2 instruments: $5 with ($1 extra per minute if your composition is longer than 3 minutes)

3 to 6 instruments: $10 with ($2 extra per minute if your composition is longer than 3 minutes)

7+ Instruments: TBD, If there is an influx of people wanting these, I will probably not do any. However, if there is not a lot of people and the price is right, I would be more than happy to do it for you.

Fantasia for Two Marimbas:

Variations on a Theme of Saint-Saëns:

A Dream Within a Dream by JBand:

Fantasie No. 1 by Lizzapie:

Rondo in A Minor:

To see more, I encourage you to view the rest of my SoundCloud profile.

All pieces are mixed with a combination Hollywood Virtual Instruments, Vienna Orchestral Library, and EastWest Symphonic Orchestra and finalized in Logic Pro X so you know you are getting the best software on the market.

If you are interested please comment below, I will try to find a communication method that works for us both.

Thanks, Jackie.

Wait What?!

I can't believe it! I'm about to hit 50 followers (only need 7 more)! I know that it isn't mush, but it is something right? Tell if you would like to see an original composition, or an arrangement of a song you like. I'm going to take probably 3-5 ideas so choose wisely as I'm putting this discussion in all the groups I'm in.

(Proper) Piano Arrangements!

What happens when you combine highly talented classical musicians with the modern era of music? Genexel EDM of course (link to the youtube channel:
We recently started creating piano covers of popular songs but at quite an advanced level. Our method of arranging perfectly encapsulates the generic chords and melody of the song but furthermore also employs thick chords and difficult passages to create quite a romantic, virtuosic feel to the music which is what piano (In my opinion) should sound like. Also, we attempted to make original EDM styled music [IN MUSESCORE!]
Here are some examples of our piano covers:

Competition Group Ideas

So if I was to create a group about these topics, would anyone join it?
Feedback would be much appreciated!!!

- maybe a Star Wars-Sounding piece competition (because why not)
- a competition based on an orchestration of a melody composed by me (because also, why not)
- a competition based on a chord progression of my choice (not cliche)

Please give me feedback!!!

Score advice

This is a little piece that I composed recently. I'd appreciate it if anyone could provide some feedback, and also maybe a name for the piece (since I haven't found one that quite fits yet...). Thanks!

Anyways, I came up with this piece after listening to Philip Glass' String Quartet No 3 - Mishima, and the simplistic style that he wrote with. I also really liked his use of polyrhythms in that piece, so I decided to try to incorporate them in this one as well...
