Hola Guys! Sorry I haven't been MuseScoring in a while... I just kinda gave up on it for a while... But I'm back, and ready to start composing again! You guys are all so very talented!!! And have made loads of progress since I've last seen your compositions, I'm jelly of your gifts.... :/ Anyways, kepp up the great work everybody!!! It's gonna get you far in Life.
Hi, I thought I'd make my introduction here.
My name is Austin. I am 13 years old. I've been playing percussion for 3-4 years (including things like marimba) and I took an interest in piano last year. We had an old electronic keyboard that I played with and I learned to cool tunes. My parents got me a Yamaha YPT-400 for Christmas (very nice keyboard). I started playing even more and in August I started piano lessons. I enjoy playing piano and sometimes I write my own tunes. Then I found MuseScore. I already thought it was pretty cool, and it's even cooler that there are all these people sharing their music online.
So, I look forward to seeing more music and getting better at piano. I hope you'll take a look at my stuff as well.
So yeah. I'm working on writing a musical, and it's basically based on a bunch of drama and lulz that ensued last year between me any my friends and just random people. If you want me to email you the stuff from it or you want to know more, hit me up on this. Shmanks guys.
I'm gonna have to start deleting some of my stuff so I can put my new stuff up. I have a new SAB choral arrangement of Blink-182's "All The Small Things" in the works that I really want to post. If you want any of the stuff I have or will be deleting, give me your email address and I can email you the music. I think I've already deleted my piano arrangement of "Coma White" by Marilyn Manson and one of my originals. I think I'm going to delete my choral arrangement of "Lithium" by Nirvana next. Again, let me know if you want any of these and hmu with your email address! (:
I'm really into rock-ish stuff. I've already done "Lithium" by Nirvana, "Sweet Child o' Mine" by Guns n' Roses, "Hurt" by Nine Inch Nails and I have a whole bunch of stuff I haven't gotten to post on this lovely little website. I was thinking of doing something a little different, an arrangement of Tay Zonday's "Chocolate Rain" with a little Rickrolling in there. What do you guys think? (:
I've been recently working on two new compositions, one is an arrangement of an amazingly beautiful piece i have on a CD that sounds really unique and almost exactly like it, and one is another original composition for a string ensemble kind of like Aurora that is coming along amazingly cool. I'm stuck on which piece I should post, so were I to remove one of my current posts (I can't remove 2), which one do you think everyone would prefer? The arrangement is called Footprints in the Snow, from Wolf Magic (my CD), and my new composition is called Deep Space (I'll probably change the title later). Which one does everyone want me to post?
So, what do you think of the group so far? Do you guys, girls, have any ideas on a song that we/ I could do? I like pop songs, there more fun to do! You can check out my sheet music to see what I did so far! thanks! YOUNG COMPOSERS RULE! 18 and under!
Hey, I'd just like opinions on my new piece.
If that link isn't up anymore, here's my profile:
I haven't done anything this big before, the most instruments I've had before is I think three. This contains several solos and things. Anything I could add/change would be helpful.
Hey, its me, I'm attempting to write my first concert band piece. I played the trumpet for 5 years, but otherwise have no experience in it, please listen to what I have so far (The piece is called Remnants of the Past) and I'd like advice such as if I'm forgetting any instruments, anything is out of range, stuff like that. I'm gonna be working on it a lot more in the near future, so I would appreciate it if we could listen to updates occasionally. Thanks a lot everyone, YOUNG COMPOSERS RULE! (although John Williams is amazing)
