THE MUSIC IS FINALLY DONE! Just a bit more cleaning of the score and it'll be set for publishing!
Hey everyone! Many of you guys just started following me, so you probably weren't there in the beginning of my composing career, but for those of you who have been following me since then, you'll recognize this piece, somewhat lol. I had some great experiences with my high school band as we traveled around Italy playing Frank Ticheli's music. He even conducted us for some of his pieces on his concert. And ever since then, I've been drawn to wanting to compose myself.
This piece was my first ever finished concert band composition of my career. Originally, it was called "The Cruise Line Suite" But I decided to revamp this piece today because this still is a big part of my heart. Afterall, this was the song that jump-started my reptutation on Musescore. The original piece you can hear here https://soundcloud.com/joshua-a-i/the-cruise-line-suite-band?in=joshua-a-i/sets/concert-band-music-1. I hope you enjoy!

Please enjoy my revamped original piece, The Cruise Line Dream!

SORRY! It for some reason wouldn't play after re-editing a small adjustment so I had to repost this.

Hello, this is a complete Musescore version of the new concert band pieces, Hyper! It's far from being completely ready for publishing as I purposely left out some cleaning to showcase this here on the Musescore forums. I've had an awesome time composing this one and this type of concert band genre is usually out of my element. But I hope you enjoy what Ihave to offer!

Andante Religioso - Mov. II of Mendelssohn's Organ Sonata IV Opus 65 - FOR TRUMPET DUET

Trumpet(2)
Hey guys. So I got a part-time job at Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament while I'm looking for my full-time teaching job. I work as a trumpeter in the show, which is freaking awesome. But we still have other things to do other than show playing.
One of which is pre-show duets. Some of the duets we have in our binder is too boring, the other trumpet players also hate them. So I've been working on arranging some cooler music for trumpet duets. This is my first one so far. I think it came out pretty well and it still suits the feel of the 2nd movement of this organ sonata. I hope you'll like it!

Lord, I Come (to You)

It has been just a little over two years since my Mother's passing and I dedicate this song to her. I miss you Mom . . . .
This is a great invitation song, re-dedication, or just plain worship. I've noted that to sing the song most will need to sing it an octave lower than the notation for the flute . . . . unless you're a first tenor or high soprano.
Scriptural Refs: Psalm 16:11;91:1;95:6; Lam 3:41; Matt 6:23;11:29;16:24; Mark 10:28; Heb 4:6; Col 1:14; 2nd Peter 2:9; 1st John 4:17

The Sad Life of a Walrus

1 part3 pages04:095 years ago1,122 views
Now it's more The Sad (and epic) Life... I updated this song to be longer, so now it's twice the original length. I kept the main part, but now there is a variation of the main theme, a faster waltz section, and pretty sad ending. So woo

Now with videoscore!

Who You Are (Jesus I Love You)

Great testimony song for people to tell why they love the Lord. This little song was born in a prayer/praise meeting in the midst of worship. Not much to it musically but it is powerful.

Nocturne

I'm pretty happy about this one. It's my first nocturne. And it has my first videoscore. Check it out for the full effect.

Also, in case you were wondering, I didn't win the composing competition. :/

The Haunted Marry-go-Round

So much for writing an essay. I've been procrastinating for three hours writing this song. Well, this is another fast, 3/8 waltz. It's a little bit like the midnight waltz, but has a little more spice, (and has no B section).
