SONATA COLLAB w/ Or Vaitzman, LK84, Romain Gandillet MOVEMENT IV (Small Update)

Piano
Hello people of the world! I have a new piano piece, and it's for a sonata collaboration with Romain Gandillet, Or Vaitzman*, and Salted Almonds**.

I tried to differ the last movement from the first movement by making it loud, aggressive, and difficult, whereas the first movement is calm and quiet.

*Or Vaitzman has a lot going on, so Salted Almonds* is going to take over his movement.

**Salted Almond's profile was deleted by his brother, so LK84 took over. LK84 is his best friend/alter ego.

This is of course my first try and I'm sure I made plenty of amateur mistakes. There are a lot of empty measures since this is more or less a sketch score.

Inspirational-(ish) music.....

Not as shameless as Prelude No.4, but still very basic/simplistic piece, and this took me less than an hour. Maybe I'm just writing down a piece I've heard (please tell me if it is). I'm still very pleased with the result.

Will need to tweak tempo and dynamics further, so this is still a WIP.

31/3: Added HQ orchestral soundfont and tweaked some notes.
3/4: Tweaked some more notes.....
5/4: Added strings... should I keep them?

Any feedback, critique and all comments all highly appreciated.

Thanks for listening :D

So named since I went to Disney World for spring break. Not N'awlins, but Jelly traveled to Florida, too!

Enjoy!

This is just me trying out a new way to write stuff, and I don't know what I'm doing. I'm really pleased with the results though.

Also, I'm sure I ripped off some choir piece that I may have heard, so if it sounds like something you know, please let me know.

21/3: Added Piano part because why not. Tell me if you like it with or without.

Feedback, critique, comments, all highly appreciated!

Thanks for listening

You are walking down the street at night when you get the feeling that you may not be the only one there. Something sinister lurks in the shadows. You don't know what it is or what it's going to do to you, but you know it's there and you know you must escape from it. You begin to feel panicked and all your senses are screaming at you to run, your heart rate speeds up, and your legs begin carrying you as fast as humanly possible. The evil presence grows closer behind you as you run faster and faster. Pure panic ensues and in the moment of terror you trip. The presence reaches to you. What is it? What does it want from you? You scream but no one hears you, you flail your body but it's no use. You're already at the mercy of this monster. Whatever it is... If only you could run... If only... You... Could run.

My ragtime interpretation of the Viennese waltz, despite the slight tempo decrease. Hopefully the Strausses are not scowling at me from above! ;-)

Enjoy!

Sonata No 1 in C Major (Full)

My first ever completed piano sonata. A Patreon reward for DoughnutGuy. Opinions are always valued and have fun listening.

The first movement is written in an edited sonata form where the transition is placed after both the first and second theme and the development is just a third theme.

The second movement is a funeral march written in advanced binary and is the longest movement of the sonata. The first theme is harsh and somber while the second theme is emotional and sweet.

The third movement is a rondo written in an A/B/A/C/B/A format. It's meant to be fun and silly like a sea shanty.

The fourth movement is the finale and the shortest movement of the sonata at just 45 seconds in length. It is written in binary form with a first theme, transition, second theme, and codetta.

The Best Inspiration (50 Follower Special)

Hi! It has been almost 2 months since I posted a long proper composition and I am very happy to present to you this. Since the school term started, I had 4 ongoing projects and 7 assignments for various subjects so I am left with little time to compose. This is probably my best composition as of now with better functional harmony used and I spent 3 weeks on this. I also thank all followers and supporters for making this possible. Now, I would like to mention some users that I would like to specifically thank.
Useful Comments
: Ethan Toavs, Bjohnsondouglas, purplarcircularnt (sorry, can't add in the weird symbols) and Lwins6
Continuous support: PianoAndTea, romain_gandillet, Shellene Tan, Amariah P, jmnaphan, CoralieB., Ryogine U and Quaver Crafter.
Also, thanks to 9155203a for being my 50th follower.
I sincerely apologise for any errors, misspellings or people not mentioned.
Anyway, back to this piece. In this piece, I experimented with different chord movements and also included some common techniques used in composing. The ending is modified from a Youtube video and change in tempo is added to further express the feeling of this piece. My target for this piece will be 1000 views and 50 favourites. Remember to continue giving comments and once again thanking everyone for being such a great audience:D.
