I have posted two Movements of Three Movement Contemporary piece called 'Celebration in C Major'. First and Second Movement I have posted. I hope you give many comments. I welcome them. The Second Movement has been completed but I has not been edited. Look forward to you comments and help.
I have a vision issue so I appreciate that MuseScore can enlarge note size. I'm planning to scan select sheetmusic (into MusicXMl format?), import it into MuseScore, enlarge it, and print out those big easy-to-read notes!
What "scanning" software do you recommend that works well (minimal cleanup) with MuseScore? (Windows environment)
I am trying to score a work for piano and voice, and the piano part gets lumped into stem groupings automatically by Musescore, a single grouping for the treble clef, no matter how many "parts" are there and the same for the bass clef. But I often need to move from that grouping to four part harmony or more so I can have the flexibility of certain notations such as in 4/4 time in the bass clef, having the lower part two half notes and the upper part in the same clef be a combination of quarter, eighth and maybe sixteenth notes. I don't see a way to do that. Anyone have an idea?
Thanks for your welcome jon606
Havent done any tutorials yet but just wondering if there is any way to input scores using a piano-keypad thing (as it would be quicker!)
Minutes later .... YOU CAN !!! I found this tutorial which is actually the fourth so i'll have to go back but might be helpful for other beginners .... what a relief that you can !!!!
