hmmmm

Just interested to know whether children would like listening to some of my songs. I never intended to write this sort of music but a lot of it has just come to me. I posted 6 scores here, let me know if they or any of my other songs fit the group. As for cool songs for children to play I'll leave that to Rivergrove (hopefully). Also let me know if it should be two different groups for kids to listen to and another for them to perform. and let me know if these sort of groups exist, I know there are groups for beginners or specific instruments but no groups for kids on any instrument. After all many pieces can be played by a lot of different instruments easily.

Good instruments for children

Recorder is the obvious one but my favourite was piano. It saved me musically, when I was 7 I wanted to play guitar but got frustrated because it was too hard. I probably would of quit music if it wasn't for piano. I think a lot of percussion instruments are also good, xylophone/glock are far more interesting than triangle just like I found piano a lot more fun than recorder, and I would think even easier. Home made instruments are awesome and can be better quality than those children's 'toy' instruments. Playing tambourine and dancing with your aunty is awesome, whilst violin/ most string / reed / brass instruments etc. I found too hard for a first instrument. let me know what you think
