HEYYYYY musescore people. My friends and I are making an RPG game and we would like some original music for it. So if you enjoy composing then we ask if you could make some piece for our game. We currently just need title screen music (epiccc stufff) character themes and some theme for places (dungeons, plains, etc etc) .We will acknowledge you for the work that you make. We just ask pieces to e approx 30 second -1 minute and can be repeated without a hitch. It's a good chance to get your music seen if our game does end up becoming know or seen by people. Thanks guys we appreciate any help given >_<
Is there a way to remove pieces that are in no way related to John Williams? I understand the homage pieces, and I am completely fine with those, but there is somebody here who posted a whole bunch of pieces just for the sake of adding them to another group. I don't know about the rest of you, but I really don't appreciate that.
I posted two original (therefore non-Williams) pieces to this group: the "Seth Chaban March" ( http://musescore.com/user/45359/scores/78064 ) and "Jodi's Theme" ( http://musescore.com/user/45359/scores/79260 ) -- they were both composed in what I felt was his "style" for his works in the late 1970s and early 1980s. So they're not BY John Williams, but they are "for the love of John Williams", and I hope the effort -- and homage -- is appreciated.
Fellow Williams fans,
Lately I have felt inspired to start arranging more of Mr. W.'s work, but I work slower than most when it comes to music arrangements. So, I have a challenge. I would like to se if any of you could come up with a fairly accurate rendition of one of his best known pieces, "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial". This is no competition, nor is there a due date. I am just curious to see what you guys have in you. There are no required instruments, key sig., time sig., etc.. just have fun! And if you don't want to do this, it is totally acceptable; I just like to hear all of your awesome work. So, to those of you who have the time and wishes to do so, good luck!
