Which are your favorites Schubert interpreters?
here's my list:
Fritz Wunderlich( I can listen only to his version of die Schone Mullerin)
Horowitz (he played few things but very good)
Rostropovich/Britten (splendid version of Arpeggione Sonata)
I must say that I'm not a fan of many "historic" recordings due to the poor audio quality, although I appreciate the musical qualities of many seasoned performers
