Hello! I'm a new member to this group, and I'm a mallet percussion composer that would love to hear what other people think about my music. Mainly looking for feedback on my melodies, expression of ideas, and overall vibes of the music. My profile link is down below, so please check out what I have to offer! :D
please listen to my piece and give me feedback.
Hello everyone! @realrandynewman and I are doing this very fun cuphead pastiche medley. So how this works is everyone makes one piece based on the big band jazz from cuphead. This can either be a plane battle piece a run and gun or a regular boss battle. We need at least 7 people to complete the medley. Each piece must have a rhyming name like "Wolly warbles in aviary action" or "eartha earthquake in jungle rumble". When your done Randy will fix the pieces up and put it in the medley. Put a comment saying what the name of your piece will be and get our piece up in the next 3 weeks and you can be in the medley!
For any composers interested in composing a prelude and fugue in this years composer competition:
You can see the themes on my profile.
in one of the songs i transcribed, in 4/4, you have to play an A for 4 beats, then on beat 3 you add C# for 2 beats, then on beat 4 you add E for 1 beat, then the measure ends. can someone help? is there a proper way to write something like that without doing 3 different voices in the measure?
Hi, i'm currently arranging the piece "best things" by the lucky chops for a marching band. I was using a soundfont to get battery percussion parts, but when i uploaded, my Drumset part that i was using for the marching snare isn't the correct sound. It's some kind of weird tom-tom thing, I think. The audio is fine when i'm in musescore, it only messes up when i upload. Any ideas? I don't think it's the soundfont because everything else works seemingly okay.
Join the group as well so we can have more next week.
Hey there! My latest arrangement of the finnish band Nightwish's piece "She Is My Sin" still has no percussion parts. Is there anyone who would like to add them/help me adding them???

My new album "Rag Tales" is out now. You can find it on Spotify, ITunes, Apple Music, and Google Play among others. I got started right here on Musescore when I was invited to the ragtime players group. Please check it out. I think you will enjoy it. Thank you friends. Just search for " CJ Brandt" or "Rag Tales". Thanks again
I recently released my 50 follower special. And the comments that I've been receiving have been mostly short, one-sentence comments. Would you be able to post a full review of the score? (Constructive criticism is welcome)
So, I tried using musescores pdf import page to translate one of my pdf's into a midi file or whatever it does, and all I get is a white screen when I click 'Select PDF File'
No options, no nothing, just a white screen. Any way to fix this or is it a network problem?

Working on an orchestral remake of this beautiful song by Sanxion7 aka SaxxonPike. Anybody who wants the MusicXML file or wants to collaborate can send me their email via personal message or contact me at email@example.com
We are on the final stretch at the moment, and I really want this to sound as great as possible
Okay, here's the deal. I've got 96 followers right now. That's getting close to a milestone.
Click on my name and then click the Follow button, and if there are 100 of you by the time I get up tomorrow morning, I'll post a special thank-you song for you all.
So, I had a realization yesterday, and that was that I simply won't have time for musescore due to school and other music business outside of school. I'm simply too busy to do anything else, I barely have time to sleep. So, with that said, I think I'm just gonna back away from musescore for a while so I can focus on the important stuff, so consider me on an official hiatus. I may come back, I may not, we'll see what the future holds first. You guys are amazing, I thank you for continuing to support me, I love you guys. I bid you goodbye for now. We shall meet again in time my friends.

So, I recently sequenced a demo song (midi format), but I no longer have access to a laptop to upload and edit the score. My proposal, whoever wants the song can enter their email in the comments section below and I'll send the midi file to you. You can keep it original, remix it, change it completely, I don't care, as long as if you publish it, I do get credit for the original sequence.
