Days Gone By

Thanks to Emotion Through Music for the name.

Sad piano and strings, as wind.e puts it, is my favorite genre of music, if I had to pick an absolute favorite.

After hearing Tribune Diablo's "Solitude" and wind.e's "From a Distance," and inspired by all of MollyMawk's awesome sad songs, I decided to really try hard to compose a sad piece that deviates at least a little bit form my "same 4-chord" style of composing that I can't seem to escape.

Now I have finally finished it, 5 months later! It has been my second most popular score all through these 5 months of WIP, so now that my stupidity and laziness has worn off and I actually finished this, you all who have waited for this to be finished have finally gotten half of what you deserve (you deserve more for me taking so long, but I don't know how to repay you -_-). Anyways, time to enjoy the song.

The videoscore was made with FL Studio (free version), using the "Close Grand" piano, a Harmless synth, and some soundfonts found at this link (just in case anyone is interested):

Initial Release (8/19/15) - Very incomplete

Update 1 (8/22/15) - Made beginning and measures 19 - 35 less repetitive, added test part 53 - 56. Let me know what to fix, and whether measures 53 - 56 should be a transition similar to measure 36.

Update 2 (11/23/15) - Finished an idea for the post-chorus calm-ish part, separated the two styles of verses and added the second verse and chorus. Still not prefect, a tad bit repetitive, will fix in the future.

Update 3 (1/28/16) - Tidied up formatting, added possible ending, reminded people this thing still existed, shocked people that I still remembered.

Update 4 (1/30/16) - Changed ending a bit, shocked people that I am making real progress.

Finished Song (1/31/16) - Final clean up, added picture, made final recording (see in SoundCloud or videoscore).

Well I don't know where I was going with this, but this is the final result. There's a lot of accidentals and runs up and down the scale!

Enjoy if possible! :)

"Lullaby of The Black Bells" - Magic Trio Nº. 5 (Description available now)

3 parts3 pages03:033 years ago598 views
In a haunted small town, there's no light, the day doesn't exist, and the night reign over everything else. When The Black Bells of the church sound creepily, the spirits of the graveyard come up and visit, ghostly, their family and friends, and go to scare their enemies in life, and maybe, to take them to the graveyard...

There are some details that still have to be revised.

I hope you enjoy a lot listening to this! :) Please leave here your opinion! ;D

Triple Baka ~ Unedited MIDI File (Good Luck!)

1 part9 pages04:113 years ago4,319 views
For your listening enjoyment only- an unedited MIDI score of the vocaloid song Triple Baka by Hatsune Miku. I thought this was a nice happy song to post, even if it is completely unplayable ^-^

I am also planning on doing a full band version (I think that's what you'd call it?) similar to my Rolling Girl and Six Trillion Years and an Overnight Story arrangements (both works in progress at the moment, but I'd appreciate it if you'd check those out as well ^^)

I hope you enjoy!

Rolling Girl ~ Might as well be done

An arrangement of Rolling Girl by Hatsune Miku This is a work in progress based off of a MIDI file that I happened to stumble across online, with a fair bit of editing. I had been wanting to arrange this song for a while (it is tied for my number 1 favorite vocaloid song of all time, with Electric Angel and Six Trillion Years and an Overnight Story), but I didn't think I'd ever have the time (right...), so when I found the MIDI file, I figured I didn't have any excuses left, so I decided to do it. Turns out it probably would have been less work to do it from scratch, but oh well :P Anyway, I hope you enjoy it and please leave feedback!

Thanks! ^-^

Edit: Might as well be done now, unless you think there's anything else I should change :P

Piece that was originally supposed to be a face-melting piano trio but didn't quite turn out as face-melting, more like face-softening (I don't know if faces soften when they get too hot or are exposed to extreme awsomeness but whatever) butit'sgoodanyway

Alternate version:

Sorry, I ran out of characters in the title :P

Anyway, I thought this was going to turn out a lot different than it ended up. I'm not disappointed with it; I just wasn't trying to make another piece exactly like this :P

Right now I'm working on a piece to take back my reign as Emperor of Face-Melting Piano Pieces (not that I ever was.... but I'd like to be ^-^ Not to be arrogant or anything, but I like to think that I had a significant part in starting the whole interest in that style of music on this site; I myself was inspired by Mollymawk and Q*be, who I think were pretty much the ones who started it all) so be prepared for that ;)

I hope you enjoy this and as always, please leave feedback!

Oh, and this is a WIP :P

EDIT 01-Feb-16: No changes to the piece, but I re-read the description just now and realized that my saying “not to be arrogant” made me sound really arrogant. I apologize for that, and I really do hate to sound arrogant :P

EDIT #2 01-Feb-16: This is not a WIP. It is done :P

The Dance of Squeenies ~ Song of the Void

1st: Watch videoscore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2nd: The Squeenies are creatures similar to squirrels. They live in herds of 12 members and they live in trees. Squeenies love playing with the little fruits of the magic trees and singing at the rhythm of the dancing wind. They change their color every season (Yellow - Summer, Orange - Autumn, White/Grey - Winter, Green - Spring)
They live in the realm of Meadow of Gales.

Dragon Rider - For String Quartet [Now Finished!]

4 parts6 pages01:353 years ago4,199 views
Violin(2), Viola, Cello
Dragon Rider by Two Steps From Hell, arranged for string quartet. I added dynamics and crescendos and stuff (which is rare for me; I usually just leave the whole thing at one volume xD), so let me know what you think. Right now I don't have a viola or a cello, but I can play the violin parts, so if there are any violists/cellists among you with nothing to do who would like to help a poor soul like myself, I thought it would be cool to get recordings of all of the parts and mesh them together to make a videoscore. Feel free to message me if you are interested ^-^ As always, any comments or suggestions are appreciated!

This is the least possible piece I have ever written

1 part3 pages01:013 years ago1,378 views
For once, I decided to COMPLETELY disregard any human limitations and write a completely impossible, really epic piece for piano :D I hope you like it, and please leave feedback!

EDIT: I don't think this is still the least possible piece I have ever written. Just in case you were wondering :P

Your nice dreams are threatened with negative thoughts and bad spirits.

There could be a lot of improvements on this piece, but I really can't be bothered to go through with them HAHA
I don't even think that the mood of the song fits in with the title but ah well

Fugue in D Minor (Unfinished: Updated 5/24)

I've been having issues with Musescore lately, so I've decided to keep my most important compositions online. Sorry for uploading an unfinished work, but it's safer here for now. It will eventually be completed and updated. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy it and the feedback is very much appreciated; especially because this piece is unfinished!

Okay it's midnight where I live which is good enough for me to release this next piece (because I'm going to be traveling tomorrow) SO without further ado, next piece is the champion I hadn't touched, and guess what!? I actually did some of this by ear! Isn't that something else!? I knew there was something missing off of what I was looking off of (the vibe part mostly) and eventually found out what it was. I love the vibe part there, and I have to say, I'm really happy the way this one turned out.
