when export from 1.3 as XML and import it to the nightly build (MuseScoreNightly-2014-08-05-1722-2f8b654) here are some observations:
1- accidentals flat-slash are not imported. however normal accidentals flat are imported.
2- custom key signature is not imported. standard key signature is imported.
3- tuning offset is not imported.
I have a problem with MuseScore on my iPad Air. I just purchased the app in the store and it starts well, the cursor bar goes forward when I click on the play button, but it doesn't play any sound. I have activated the metronome, tried with various files, both mine and from the community. I have tested the sound in other applications and it works fine. I even rebooted the iPad with no success. If anyone know how to solve this, I'd be very grateful.
On your iTunes page for the MuseScore iOS app it lists the iPod Touch 3G among the supported machines:
"- iPod Touch third and later generations"
That's not true, unless you're talking about a jailbroken one with iOS6 forced onto it unofficially, somehow. The 3rd generation iPod touch only supports iOS 5.1 - I know, because I own one.
I think that probably ought to say "fourth and later generations".
Once again, thanks for putting so much work into this app.
Would it be feasible / possible for a future release of the app to interpret the line-breaks, page-breaks and spacers to reproduce the layout and page formatting of the MuseScore file?
I hope this is the correct place for MuseScore for iOS Feature Requests.
In the table view where you can listen to and download a score; please add a search or sort by downloads, parts, writer's name, etc.
If i run a playback in the iOS APP with a repeating loop, the loop works initially fine, but after changing the speed to g.E. 120% there will be a gap of 1 to 3 beats. This gap exists only when repeating, not when the cursor goes on to the next part.
tested: iOS 7.1, iPad4, latest app, file above
I don't know about other people, but my thumb/finger gets in the way when I try to change the tempo and I can't see the percentage xD.
I made a picture: http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/3749/a136d5k9wkfye0ifg.jpg
It will be nice if there is a switch to start the metronome for exsample 2 bars in front of the music (like iRealB). This enables the musician to start simultanous, with the music.
Workaround that works: Adding 2 empty bars at the beginning.
I was very happy to discover that the ipadplayer was available at de appstore, so thanks voor creating it!!!
Except... The first file I tried to open from ipad mail did not open. The app opens, it seems to be loading the file, but i never get to see the music. Leaving the ipad to finish loading does not help. The ipad goes to sleep before that. It is an mscz file with six voices and several pages. Help!? Btw i have an ipad2.
Firstly, thanks for creating the new MuseScore player for iOS app.
I have a couple of scores for piano which have been created with two separate piano parts for right and left hand. (I find this helpful for learning the piece) However when played on the iOS app it only plays one part, despite selecting "display all parts" in the app setup.
iOS 7.1 (iPad4 and iPhone 5s)
MuseScore for iOS 1.3.1
I downloaded musescore player on an iPad 1 but I Try to run it shows for less than a second the startup screen and instantly closes.
Works fine on iPad 2
