(Yes I'm spamming this on all my groups so beware.)
I am an alto sax student in Idaho. My private instructor was wondering if anyone would like to arrange this arrangement of Crazy la Paint, done by user Rambo_Piggy, for sax quartet (preferably for two altos, a tenor, and a baritone) and percussion, along with some effects (i.e. clapping, stomping, ect.). Yes, I have his permission to rearrange it. You may be paid a reasonable fee for your work if you need. We are going to perform this arrangement for fun only, so we won't make money from it. If anyone is interested, please let me know. Thanks!

Greetings, All! I an brand new to the site, and have a goatee, so I hope that's permissible! I have a question, if I may. I have a program that saves the .mscx to MP3 in order to upload to various sites. However, my intended tempo is not saved and as a result, the pieces sound like Keystone Cop music, saving it as the default. Is there any way to keep the integrity of the intended tempo?
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I look forward to our exchanges.
So... I still don't have a pro account, although, if I get it for my birthday, that should come in June -- possibly sooner. I'm trying guys. But for now, I am going to have to sacrifice one of my songs. I don't think I want to get rid of "I Am The Doctor", because I'm not finished yet, I have the most views on that one (THANKS FOR OVER 700!), and because it's dedicated to my followers. I also want to leave up "Outsider", because I JUST put it up about five minutes ago, and it's my favorite piano solo of mine so far. So -- that leaves "Elevation", "Bckwrds", and "Exploring the Wall". Which to go? Just so you know, it's gonna be replaced by a piano solo version of the Ghostbusters theme, so I think it's worth it. Vote by putting in the comments which one you want me to take down.
I'm new to this group, but I was invited to join by its manager after he heard a piece of mine called the "Dreamland Fantasy No. 1". A "Dreamland Fantasy" is a form of composition I created, and is meant to be a more expressive version of the Nocturne. While a Nocturne is somewhat restrictive, as you have to be able to evoke the feeling of nighttime, a Dreamland Fantasy is meant to evoke the fantastical worlds of our dreams, making each piece unique to its composer. I uploaded my Dreamland Fantasy on here, so I would appreciate it if you all checked it out, and perhaps in the future there will be more, not just composed by me, but others as well.
