I really like the ease with which you can enter and edit a piece of music in Musescore. What would be fantastic is if I could send the midi to my DAW or a VSTi like Native Instruments The Grandeaur piano. Any way to do that?
so I'm just wondering what some good ways to start making music are as its kind of a thing me and my family enjoy doing together. i have a few on here but 2 of them are video game songs and 1 is just kind of derping around. i want to be more original. any advice at all is welcome.
This is s group for contests! BUT NOT JUST NORMAL CONTESTS!!! They are battles for 2 or more sides! It's going to be lots of fun! Yah, I know I pretty much starting tons of wars but who cares?! You can show everyone your opinion, and if you are the winning person on the winning side, you become an admin, (please don't abuse your power...) ^_^
So I'm working on arranging We Are Young by Fun for my symphonic band. I had it all done and everything and I guess it was pretty good because my band director said we could play it for our pep band stuff if I fixed the instrumentation and dynamics. Which instruments included in symphonic band instrumentation should be in the melody and supporting lines? I've already figured out bass, just need those two.
If you have a bar in 4/4 with four crotchets, is it possible in Musescore to add a semibreve at the beginning of that bar to last throughout the measure?
Musescore won't seem to let me do it. I know I could replace the semibreve with four tied crotchets, but it looks untidy.
I am arranging "Some Nights" for my Pep-Band and all of the parts are kinda difficult to fit on the page; much less without the parts colliding. I would like to know how to remedy this prior to printing the score and giving it to the conductor, Thanks.
