This is Taurus Demon, a video game soundtrack. Obviously I don't want a full orchestra arrangement of this because that would be insane lol. I however wouldn't mind if you made a simple arrangement on piano or a very small ensemble. Reason being is I am trying to make a wild violin duo so I'll just transcribe the notes. I would make my own arrangement but it's so hard to hear the pitches. The rhythm is fairly simple through out though. Anyway just any sort of arrangement for this would be wonderful. If you do happen to make one, just add your arrangement to the comment section of this discussion via link. Thanks! :)
I need some comments/suggestions so I can Improve my future compositions. Well I don't really have proper arranging lessons aside from having enough solfege studies. Feel free to comment. Thanks. SALAMAT here from the Philippines. :)
Hey guys! I'd love to know what works you have currently, so I can know what's to come!!
Right now I'm working on Thrift Shop and The Scientist!!
Post what you're working on!!
I just finished arranging a little SATB version of "Cups (When I'm Gone)" from Pitch Perfect. Let me know what you think and feel free to give me some feedback. Cheers!
If you have any requests for an original or an arrangement of an a capella song, post it here. We'll try to make sure someone starts working on it. There may even be more than one arrangements!!
here's a link to an a cappella arranging workshop hosted by Ben Bram, the guy who arranges for The Sing Off and for USC's a cappella groups. It gives some small tips in arranging for certain styles. It can only help you out at arranging. Keep it up guys!
Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been very active recently! I will be without access to a computer for most of this summer as well. I work at a boy scout camp and i'll be out in the woods for 8 weeks, so probably not best to bring a laptop. In the meantime, I need a few people to be admins for the group. So I am giving admin positions to Thani and Sean Baba! Thani will be the main one in charge, and Sean underneath! Please keep the group active guys! You have creative control for the next 2 months, so put your own flare on things! I'll miss all this dearly, but I gotta share my music with the woods now. Let A Capella live on!!
so I posted this question in another group. does anyone else have problems making their arrangements look nice without using up a lot of pages/paper? For me, it's either two enormous systems per page, or three tiny systems that are impossible to see. I wonder how everyone else deals with this or if its even an issue.
