Hey, this is my first full completed composition for my college audition portfolio. Let me know what y’all think. :)
Hi , I'm 13 and I composed a piece for my end of year concert. We're performing in a couple weeks and I wanted to ask for some feedback/improvements for the piece.
I think the instrumentation might be a bit weird because I had to add a clarinet, but there's nothing I can do about that.
So,I orchestrated the Geography Now Intro song by Paul Barbato (I'm sure there is someone else that helped him,but who knows) and I just want some criticism and some thoughts about it from you guys. What do you think?
Also,I am new here,so yeah.

Hi, I`m Jakob (12yo)!
I`m member for one year and have uploaded many pieces already.
I`m interested in what other users think about my scores.
So please look at my scores and leave me some feedback, no matter if it`s positive or negative.
Hey, so somehow I've become the main judge of a competition called the Musescore World Championships. It looks like it'll be an amazing competition, with 70+ entries into the 10-11 categories already :)
All you have to do is post up to 3 of your scores in as many of the categories as you want, and you're entered :)
The competition closes on the 1st of August, so you have plenty of time to enter :)

Hey, if any of those awesome high school composers out there want to participate in a composition competition, I just created a group for you! :P
I'm inviting people from other groups other than mine to join in our our first tournament.
Want to more about it? Here's the link to the contest: https://musescore.com/groups/modern-composers-society/discuss/2272171
You don't have to join the group unless you win by the way. You may enter the contest here but first read from the link as to how to apply.
Sorry if I shouldn't advertise here but I'm doing this to see to see if it could help me start a new group on musescore. If any are interested in joining my new group though click the link and listen to some of the submitted pieces to see if you might be good enough for this group. It would mean a lot if you could help me out with this. (Warning: If you're not good enough I probably will remove you. No hard feelings but I really need the good composers.)
So one of my files ended up corrupting due to 25 measures in two different parts turning into very, VERY odd time signatures. I'm not talking about stuff like 5/4 and 7/8, though. Each measure had a different time signature, spanning from 13/4 and 39/8 to 39/1 and 325/8. Not only that, but every single time signature was negative (like "-13/4" and so on). These odd measures would not make any sound in playback, any notes entered into them would disappear and cease to exist, and any copy/paste into those measures crashed MuseScore instantly. While I was able to delete the measures and fix the file, I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue, and might know what caused it, because it really puzzled me.
Hi, I'm pretty new to the Musescore community and I thought I'd try joining a group to see what I can gain out of it, whether it be the ability to hear awesome music, or to receive feedback and advice on my own work. While I rarely compose music, and I'll be 18 fairly soon, I still have one piece I'd like to share with everyone, and I do have a different version of that song in the works, as of right now. Even if I don't upload much, I'd be glad to give/receive feedback, and just have a good time with music in general.
