Ride of the Dota - Epic Orchestral

For Symphony Orchestra

Uploaded on Feb 20, 2019

Hi everyone! This is one of my best pieces ever, so as usual I'll start with a bit about the piece, then a story to go with it.

So first, a disclaimer: This piece has nothing to do with the strategy game DOTA 2 at all. I have never played DOTA 2, and have no relation to it whatsoever. All rights for that game belong to Valve.

Next, I just want to say that the score and the custom audio may not be exactly identical. They are probably some errors in each. Also, the custom audio may sound a little weird because my computer doesn't handle sound rendering very well. :(

This is a new arrangement of a piece I wrote a long time ago. I decided to arrange it using my new EastWest libraries, because why not. I know it is kind of repetitive, but hopefully the epicness makes up for that!

Also, this is my entry for Jay and John's Challenge. Check it out here, and make sure to enter the next one!

So now, a story about the Knights of Dota:

There was once a wizard who came across a mountain. Atop the mountain lived the most powerful and dangerous creature in the world, which guarded the mountain fiercely, killing any stranger who passed by. So, to stop the creature from hurting anyone else, the wizard went to the city of Dota, south of the mountain, and asked the King for help. The King agreed to send three of his best knights to help the wizard. And so the wizard and the three knights rode forth from Dota.
