I'm using this score to finalize my learning of this piece. My teacher and I are impressed at the number of various editions and changes made to this piece. For instance, in measure 22, the D-C-D on the right hand is almost always marked as E-C-D -- we went and checked the original manuscript by Nohl and, of course, this is exactly what it says -- but the most amazing thing is that only 20 years after Nohl (according to imslp), it had already become E-C-D !
I was surprised also. Although I found that it sounds best if you do E-C-D until the last time, where D-C-D adds a nice edge to the piece. Also, it should be 'poco rit' in the last phrase, whilst decreasing in dynamic on the last note. Great arrangement otherwise!
All but the first triplet-marks (bars 79-83) should be invisible. It is also needed to add 16th note tremolos in bar 66 and 67. Thanks for all OpenScore transcriptions, great job!
There actually is no tremolo on the left hand notes in measures 67 and 68. I've just checked it again on the original score by Ludwig Nohl. About the triplets, well, it's a question of style. Personally I think there shouldn't be anything left to imagination on a score.
I would love to dedicate this piece to "Elise". But 450Euro....
Thank you. Please add the repeating 16th notes in the LH in measures 66 and 67.
