Since I have not yet seen an acceptably complete score for this piece on MuseScore, I decided to do something about it. Here is the Sunrise Fanfare from Also Sprach Zarathustra, by Richard Strauss, most widely known as the theme from Stanley Kubrick's film, '2001: A Space Odyssey.' Enjoy, and please watch the video score! The audio was created using all free soundfonts and mixed in Audacity. I was able to do the crescendos and diminuendos using the envelope tool.

Hi all, This week I focus on Richard Strauss. A late Romantic, early Modernism composer. One of the most interesting facts about him is "He wrote his first composition at the age of six." That's impressive. Today of course I am going to share a work most of us have heard at the movies. But we have not heard in full. So, here is your chance to listen to the work in full. The genre is a Tone poem. which "A symphonic poem or tone poem is a piece of orchestral music, usually in a single continuous movement, which illustrates or evokes the content of a poem, short story, novel, painting, landscape, or other (non-musical) source."The work this work is reflecting on is a book by German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, which is entitled Thus Spoke Zarathustra: A Book for All and None. Hopefully you'll be able to get past the famous beginning and give the rest of this work a chance!!!Link to the work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXIaKbq1WBgHopefully you all will enjoy!!! :)

Please contact ArturoHernandezLV@gmail.com for professional-grade individual parts to this piece, or, to commission new arrangements or original compositions.

I mixed the traditional Mexican folk song, "La Cucaracha", with Richard Strauss' "Also sprach Zarathustra, Op. 30" (popular from 2001: A Space Odyssey), and Johann Strauss II's "An der schönen blauen Donau, Op. 314" (The Blue Danube). I hope you like it!

Comments are always welcome.

This is a WIP. It is rather large, so feel free to let me know where mistakes are.

This is the full orchestral arrangement of Strauss' tone poem, Also sprach Zarathustra. This piece was inspired by Nietzsche's novel of the same name with its structure mirroring that of the book.

This is a score for SATB with different notations for learning purpose. I created this sheet to teach some music theory.

The Piano line is just a copy of the sung chord to see the chords form. Above, is the chord name.

Under each instrument are numbers. These numbers indicate, which tone of the chord is sung by this part. So, 1 = unison, 3 = third, 5 = fifth, depending of the chord.

I also added a simple Timpani track for the sound and beneath that is the chord in roman numerals for analysis.

Also Sprach Zarathustra, Op. 30 is a tone poem composed by R. Strauss in 1896.

This score was the most complex one I've ever done... and I'm looking forward to making more difficult score with playback quality at it's best!

Just begun the full score of Richard Strauss' famous Also Sprach Zarathustra in glorious, high quality full score.
And since the length of this work is so long, this will be the first and last time I arrange and upload a score of Strauss's.

Unfinished.
