Hello Connor! I don't know if you remember but it's Nestor, one of the LSW euphonium players that played this piece a couple of years ago and right now, I am studying Music Education to hopefully one day become a band director for either a high school or university, and this piece was somehow still remaining in my head, and since this piece is BRILLIANT to program it for winter concerts, is there anyway for you to send me the score and parts that way I have it in my repertoire for future reference?
Hi Nestor! I remember you. :) Sorry it took me so long to get back to you; I've been rather busy with school lately and haven't had time to come back to MuseScore (I've kinda abandoned the site altogether) I've intended to come back and edit this piece for future bands to possibly play it, and would be able to send you an updated copy of the score :)
Hi there,
I really think this is a lovely winter-theme. I play in Oslo Janitsjar, a comunity wind band in Oslo, Norway. Maybe we can play your music? This year our program for our pre-christmas concert is already set, but what do you think for us next Desember?

Best regards, Gunn M B Hill, gmbh@hotmail.com
Waittttt, you were in high school when you wrote this? How old were you??!! Also, excellent key change on page 25
Haha yeah I was a sophomore in high school when I started writing it, and had spent nearly half a year trying to get to a completed, and more or less, playable version lol. I was 16 at the time. :) Thanks, John!
Its an amazing piece, but I bet Clarinets didn't like going over those breaks in those runs (A3/B3 & C5/D5). I play clarinet myself, and compose, and I think something that will really help you in future with composing is considering practicality when playing - not just for your instrument, but for others as well. It is an amazing piece, there is no doubt, and hopefully by being able to listen to it performed by a real band as opposed to a computer program has taught you a lot. Just keep in mind the practicality of some notes on instruments - talk to people who play them! That would be why some of those runs are a bit messy. Other than that, this is an amazing piece, great job!
Clarinet as my main, I don't find those run jumps too difficult. You get used to them. But yes, definitely something to consider.
Excellent! I'm very impressed. I love this. Glad I found it.
YAAAAAY CONCERT PERFORMANCE IS NOW ON YOUTUBE :D http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=g6oq3im4VvU
YES!!! you FINISHED it... i'm so happy... initial thoughts... the trombone glissando needs to be brought down an octave in the Eb 5/4 section. Also, maybe you could fatten up the ending of the five four section... not stressing you to do that, but that's something I would enjoy. Also, if i were you, I would slow down the tempo a tad for the flute's sake... those runs are giving me a headache just looking at them... *whew* Other than that, it's excellent!!
Thanks, maestrojeh! We're about to perform this!!! we've made a few tweaks to it (we added a little more climactic ending) and some more dynamic changes at the long notes after the second repeat). So far, the flutes and mallets have been able to play this relatively easily, but its so far being played at like 160. (Official tempo is 187).

Again, thanks! I'm gonna have my mom record it so I can send a link of the live performance. :)
The rests here should be whole-bar rests, I think :)
Eh, idk. That section is in 3/4 the way it is so I think its fine.
Love this piece so much! One of the greatest on musescore!
It sounds a lot like one of the songs from Super Mario Galaxy sometimes. :)
I love the part that starts on page 25! :)
Ok I tried adding a rit like Spoink suggested. :)
Very nice, Trolol! It's been way too long since I last listened to this.
I feel like these should be fermatas because I definitely get why these notes are extended, but personally I think they are extended a bit more then they should be. Besides that, i think this new section is really fantastic!
Same with the last measure on this page
Thanks, Spoink! I think I'll do just that. :)
I finally updated it! It still needs to be fixed, but its already almost time for me to turn this in. :P Enjoy!
Ok. I just finished writing it! :D I added a new section in the slow movement because I felt it was a little too short. I know there's still stuff to fix, but the deadline is super close that their isn't really much I can do.
YAY NEW SECTION!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW I CAN PLAY IT FOR LONGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ALSO SORRY IF MY CAPITALIZATION IS BECOMING ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oops I haven' even uploaded it yet XD I should be able to this weekend. :P
FINALLY THERE'S A TENOR SAX! :D:D:D:D:D:D I CAN PLAY IT! GOOD JOB. IT'S SO GOOD I'M WRITING IN CAPS!
Thanks, Rockn! I just finished it, and I'll upload the finished portion in a little bit. :)
Yeah I'm not sure how to fix that. xD
Wonderful piece. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great work!
Congrats on the completion! how long did it take you to finish?
Thanks! Umm... It has taken me about a full year to completely finish this piece. Really painstaking work.
Oops, I accidentaly deleted that.

Anyways, Thanks Shewbacca!
ok there. That was amazing! The only way to make that better is if your school does play it :)
More Updates! I added more dynamics and fundamental stuff.
I was just looking at it and wondering why these are two different endings? I can't see the difference! :P
Major Updates! I've changed a few things that were impossible to play, and other stuff. I accidentally deleted the 1st ending on pg 28 but I'll get that fixed later.

Also tell me if I need anything else changed.
