Parade Patrol

For Concert Band

Uploaded on Dec 22, 2018

“Parade Patrol” is a musical composition that portrays a facetious defiance against society, expressed through the inequities of a group of ne'er-do-well police officers. Funky, frisky, and fun, it is the epitome of a tongue-in-cheek march, bringing to mind the image of a team of police officers—bored out of their minds—defying their commanders and, instead, retreating to have drinks at a local pub. Resentful of their monotonous jobs—and inebriated beyond belief—they throw a parade of their own, dancing, laughing, and doing about anything that will take their minds off work.
