Ah...the last bars, I should have taken those out for this upload. It's not clear here, but on the first page of the first one of these little pieces (unfinished!) there's an instruction for the players to choose which note they want to play. In one of the pieces I have the horn able to choose between two contrapuntal melodies both of which work overall. It's just a bit of experimentation and variety for the players. Luckily I have the chance for a real ensemble to have a go at this.

Danke Herr Mozart. I found a horn sf called 'solo french horn' languishing at the bottom of my instrument list and it really works for lead lines; sounds almost like a flugel at times. Thanks for listening.
