Ten piano variations on Hedwig's Theme
Uploaded on Oct 22, 2015
It' s quite clear that I love Hedwig's theme, composed by John Williams. Those variations were originally some improvisations which I enjoyed playing from time to time, imitating different styles, but never decide to write them down. Hearing them, it' s easy to recognise Chopin's etude op.25, No.12, Beethoven's theme of the 5th symphony or even Bach's partita in E minor and some Mozart. The fugue that completes these variations is the one I've already trascribed for flute, violin and harpsichord, being improvised first for the piano.
I hope you really enjoy them!
