A note on stage directions - Drosselmeyer is the toymaker/wizard. No one speaks in the ballet, but the story is based on E.T.A. Hoffmann's 1816 story "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King". The Nutcracker is his nephew. Also, I'm writing from a French score, so the majority of the directions are from that - but I've occasionally put the more modern variation in parenthesis, eg The Ballerina Doll dance, instead of the pas de deux.

Also, if you're looking for how to write harp glissandos, this is a good source.

Thanks! if you really like, I have almost the full thing - part two as well - here. https://musescore.com/user/194052/sets/5097908 I'm only missing the finale/apothesis. I've gotten distracted by Dvorak, as I'm actually playing that and not just wishing, lol.
Is it the original aragement|orchstration by Tchaikovsky? It would be great to upload each piece of the ballet separately
Hey, I love this and am trying to download it and use it for upcoming arrangement, however, my computer cannot handle the file size and will immediately freeze and shut down. I would love it if you could send me only "The Nutcracker March" at my email jackcarsonoklahoma@gmail.com. Thanks!
I wish this had more views, this is great!
This is impressive. Thank you. Also, for when you move on to act 2, I have Dance of the Mirlitons transcribed on my page and you are welcome to copy and paste.
