Dragonborn, by Jeremy Soule. shortly after the game came out, a student came to me and asked if we could play this in our school concert. She was a choir kid and said she was working on choir parts. At the time, I was the director of the band and orchestra. She said she could get me instrumental parts, and I said if she could find them we'd play it.
Long story short, I ended up being more excited about it than she was.. I looked around online for any sort of score to use (at the time didn't know about this place) and found nothing. Our school at the time had a pretty good orchestra and also a band, and the choir was not bad either! I didn't want to pass up the opportunity to use them all on something epic, so I created a transcription from scratch. Used up a whole Saturday.
When she came to me a week later I asked her if she was done with the parts yet, she hung her head and said that it was a pipe dream anyway, she was never going to get the parts done, etc etc.
I pretended to be angry with her (hey, what a teachers for?) and told her that she had to finish the vocal parts and get the choir rehearsing, because the band and orchestra had already been rehearsing for a week! The look on her face was priceless.
This is NOT an exact transcription, it was written for what I had available in my groups and was about as accurate as I could get it over one weekend with just me and my little headphones. I added the vocal parts to the score later.
If you are looking for a complete and accurate score, there are some really complete scores here, so I almost didn't even want to post this.. there's better stuff out there.
But whatever. Enjoy.
