Let me say I know that people don't dance/waltz at funerals... the piece was initially inspired by the thought of a funeral, but grew into more than just sadness. Funerals can be more than just about death, but also a celebration of a person's life. For that reason the piece is not plainly sad/depressing. So, I present a "funeral" waltz, whatever that may mean. It's "Grand" because why not? I don't really desire to change the name at this point since I wrote it a while ago using Noteflight (and had to convert over to Muescore... took a while to fix weird notation changes). Anyway, thanks for listening!
