Mozart: Great Mass "Große Messe" in C Minor, K. 427: I. Kyrie
Uploaded on Mar 18, 2017
This piece is famously left unfinished by Mozart, and also contains a soprano solo written for Constanze Mozart, his wife. He wrote this mass to impress his father and to show him that Constanze was the perfect wife for Mozart. His father never approved of the marriage, and Mozart gave up on this mass. The Kyrie is an amazing composition, utilizing counterpoint and sublime vocal writing. Here is my transcription tuned to 432 hz, enjoy!
