Charles Wood: Gigue

Uploaded on Feb 4, 2018

Charles Wood (15 June 1866 – 12 July 1926) was an Irish composer and teacher. His pupils included Ralph Vaughan Williams at Cambridge and Herbert Howells at the Royal College of Music. His arrangement of the carol "Ding Dong Merrily on High" is frequently sung today.
This little organ trio was published in 1915. My MuseScore transcription uses the pan flute, oboe and reed organ voices and observes the manual changes as indicated.
