A violin is taken to hospital. The doctor examines her and says:
"There's nothing wrong with you. But you broke your bow. How did that happen?"
Violin: "I only remember the thunderous applause for the composer."
Doctor: "Do you remember his name?"
Violin: "No. I think he was on the first page of the sheet music."
So i'm making my own sheet music. I'm not sure if this is good or not. Can anyone check if its good? Its still in progress by the way, so for now i've added an ending
so I am a huge fan of the game Delta Rune and there is not a lot of sheet music for the game that has been uploaded yet. specifically, I'd like someone to make some flute sheet music for the song Legend from that game. thanks!
So im in marching band and I'm the only flute out of 16 hornline, mostly brass...
I keep trying to play louder but it always goes up an octave or makes an awful screeching noise. Even though I have been playing for about two years, I've never found a solution to the problem. I was wondering if any of you could give me some tips on how to play louder but still sound good during competitions.
They are the best!
I am about to do a little "concert" for my school and I was wondering if anyone would want to gives some tips to sound better
I have promised that if i reach 50 followers I will make Eleazart 4 so I will do it! and I will make a special piece too!
Hi. I'm trying out for chair placement for high school band and I'm sCaReD of the high school band director....any tips?
EDIT (4/9/2019) DDAY IS UPON US AND I WILL HAVE RESULTS ON HOPEFULLY FRIDAY!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Your love and support really worked! I made my symphonic band as a freshie! I got 6th chair out of 8 symphonic flutes and 7 concert flutes. So how did auditions go? I did all of my scales and arpeggios in 2 octaves (minus Bb, which is the end of me so I only did it in one octave), ALMOST flopped on my chromatic but MADE IT, played my prepared exercise LIKE A SAVAGE, and then the wheels had to come off at sight reading that I'm pretty sure was grade 4 1/2. ANYWAYS, I love ALL of YOU who motivated me! THANKS!
I've been playing the flute for 3-4 years now, and I STILL CAN"T MEMORIZE EVERY. SINGLE. NOTE.
Are you guys:
1. Someone who memorizes notes
2. Someone who memorizes where their fingers go at each place
One of my dad's friends gave me a 50 year old flute that used to be his daughter's and it needs a lot of repair. I'm planning to use it to learn how to replace pads, but I can't seem to find the right pads online. Does anyone know how I could get pads for a old Cadet student model?
