gee, it is not too early to think about Halloween, is it? After having heard many neat compositions of spooky music here at musescore, I thought, why not have a Halloween Music Contest. So submit your original fun spooky music for this contest to end appropriately on Oct 31. Can't wait to hear your compositions.

note to myself:
may 29, 2019 not profound or professional or profane nor even prodigious but probably profuse or prolific, even to being a bit profligate (but not promiscuous), and finally definitely pro-silly and pro-fun

For those who don’t know Polyrhythm is the simultaneous use of two or more conflicting rhythms e.g. triplets at the same time as duplets

Hello! I am Mark Catahan and I arranged a piece from Francisco Tarrega which was Gran Vals. It is originally a guitar piece but I transcribed and arranged it for a string quartet. With my arrangement, something is bugging me about how I arranged it and I do not know what it is. So I kinda need some help on figuring out what needs to improve in the arrangement. Thanks!

Hey, all! I am a cellist looking for some good pop viola/cello duets. Not too hard, but not too easy. I am about intermediate-professional level, and the violist is professional level. Good pop arrangements for viola/cello are really hard to find, so any input would be welcome! Thanks!
Dear musescorers, if you have compositions that would be of interest to double bass players (including solo or chamber music), please consider joining the Contrabass players group and adding it there! For 7 years, it's been the only group specifically about the double bass/contrabass. You are also welcome to post a discussion. https://musescore.com/groups/contrabass-players
Hi everybody! I have been playing the cello for almost 2 years now and I am in my
6th grade orchestra. I am looking for music to play but I don't know where to start! Please do not underestimate me, if you have more difficult pieces that are cello solos or duets, I would love to try them! But please, not much shifting If possible (I realized most difficult pieces have shifting)😆>﹏< . That's all I have to say!
P.S. I love Undertale music! 😁
I am in need of an opinion on a piece I started written in the mindset for the youth players. The piece I am writing is called "A Brandenburg Waltz". Using the notes to the Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 and putting them into a waltz.
Any changes will certainly be pleased.
