My first composition is called Davy Jones Theme and it´s my version of this piece that comes from the film Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead´s Man´s Chest.
Hey I posted a song not too long ago, and i could really use some suggestions/tips. Thanks :)
Just uploaded my first ever piece on this website, and I would greatly appreciate some feedback to help me improve either this piece or my ability as a composer...
It's up on my profile, so if you have time please have a look and give me some constructive criticism!
Here is an updated score.
I was bored today so I decided to make this by ear. Idk how to get the first ending to extend past one measure, but I think it turned out well. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated (even negative feedback).
I uploaded my nocturne. Here is the link:
I would love some feedback on it. I have heard from another person that I kind of use the same rhythm over and over. I honestly didn't plan on changing the rhythm because nocturnes typically will have a triplet rhythm. And the rhythm of the melody I think is part of why it sounds so beautiful to me. Also it is Bb which is a key I associate with a moonlit night.
I composed it over 3 days. Anyway, what do you think?
Hi everyone im new i do not know how to do these things i wanted to request a midi song if anyone can make one
All That Remains - What If I Was Nothing
Thank you if that possible
¡Hola!
Hello! I hope everybody is fine. I ask you a little question: How can I transcribe bars 78, 79, 80, 81 and 82 of "Fur Elise" by Beethoven? I was trying with several alternatives but none of them work for me. I searched for Google and nothing. What do those "3" mean above every three sixteenths? Sorry for the inconvenience, I'm new to this program and I think it's wonderful. Thanks in advance.
So it has many flaws.
I won't change it though XD
Please feel free to leave your comments.
(Updated at Oct 15, 2018)
Well, I have changed some notes, because they really sound terrible XD
It's a simple melody stated over 4 bars that I play around with.
Left hand is maybe a bit repetitive.
I would appreciate feedback on what I could have done differently. Particularly in the left hand to add colour.
This is my first piece and although some of it is kinda weird I like it, but could I have some feedback from your point of view? I'd like to hear what you have to say.
I arranged the song "Invisible" by the Italian singer Umberto Tozzi.
Asap, I will also load the score on musescore.
Tell me what you think?
I wrote this to explain how the major scale works, as well as intervals and counterpoint. I set some rules for myself when composing this: the piece had to be diatonic, no sharp dissonances, and should follow the 'rules' of counterpoint as much as possible.
Feedback is welcome!
To celebrate my pro account, I composed a piano and cello duet arrangement of Hans Zimmer's Oogway Ascends. I'd love to hear any feedback you might have!
I think that we should have a few match ups and vote on who would win! Match up #1.................................. Is the Nine Tails v.s. Hollow Ichigo v.s. Nightmare Luffy v.s. Zeref! Begin the voting!!!!!
I have just created a group to compile a songbook of songs from Musescore (See group description for more detail, here's the link: http://musescore.com/groups/ultimate_songbook_of_musescore. We need all the people we can get to join, as it 30+ people to really kick start the path to publishing the song book, so it would be great for everybody to join!
Thanks in advance!
I'm unsure if I should expand upon this... whatever you would call it I made several months ago for my anthropomorphic lucario persona (based on Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal's OST) or just scratch it and make a completely new score.
I'm not proficient in creating original compositions, and I lack the knowledge of many terms, but I'm going to get better and I hope to one day make my own large music piece.
(You're probably triggered because I most likely used several terms in the wrong ways.)
Just a reminder that if you're planning on submitting something for the competition, the deadline is tomorrow. A lot of you have commented, but nobody has submitted yet. Is anyone planning on submitting something? And if so, should I push the deadline back by a few days?
Thanks for any feedback!
