Hey, I wanted to write something for a group I'm a part of, but I can't find the drum corps templates in MDL, they're just not in my list. Anyone know a solution to this?

I am currently polishing up an arrangement for Glorious Morning for marching band when I hit a road block. You see, The entire piece is in a triplet swing, and whenever I have encountered this in marching band I always saw it as notated how to swing the notation right next to the tempo, but the piece has the first note both held and not in some places, so how should I go about notating this? Should I stick to 4/4, and just choose one to write as a triplet, and if so, what, or should I write it in 12/8 and leave a note saying "Conduct in 4?"

Hi, I'm just amateur composer and I want to ask you something: From which point do you consider score "experimental"? 
Aside of that, I started composing only this year and I would really appreciate someone else's opinion about my music. If you can take a look at my scores and tell me what U think I'd be really thankfull. 
Currently I'm working on piano piece called Rain. but I feel like the tempo chnges too many times. Do you think it's a problem?

So I had this idea for a show called "A Part". The show is about being apart, separated, from something but still being a part of that. In its essence, the show is about stars and how they are so lonely as individuals in the universe but they are a part of the universe, something much greater than themselves. This show theme is giving me really Blue Knights vibes and I just wanted your thoughts on if this could make a show. If anybody is interested I started writing some pit and soloist stuff that fits the theme really well, and if you want to take a shot at this theme I could send those over to you! Thanks for your thoughts, any comments are appreciated.

Hey everyone! I'm looking to practice my battery arrangement on an actual piece of music rather than just writing stuff out of context. I was wondering if anyone had some brass arrangements I can borrow and write over. Preferably at marching tempo and not very repetitive. Message me if you'd be willing to help. Thanks!

oops I was late again but whatever

apparently, now all of a sudden, I can only get my music to play if it is the default soundfont. If I use another soundfont library such as the SChristian Collins 1.471, it just processes indefinitely when I press play. I do not see a solution to this. If I can only use the default soundfont in uploads, it makes no sense to upload anything anymore. So, unless I can fix this, I won't be posting any more. So it goes.

I don't get on the forums much anymore, and this UI is garbage, but I could use a hand none-the-less.

I'm looking for someone who plays french horn specifically. Take a peek at this here arrangement:

I jammed it together from memory of playing it forever ago, snagging the main bits from ISMLP. Very often, my horn parts are the last to be arranged and usually get the worst hodge podge of voices. This is a great example of how not to write for any instrument in general, but it happens. This was in c minor, now it's in g minor, and the french horn is simply way to low.

I have a good sense of the comfort level for the other instruments as I play them, but I've done little more than fart around with horn. I'd greatly appreciate some cries of resentment and guidance on how it should be if you could.

Hello Percussion Players! I am from the Piano For Us Group! We (the group admins) are making an Ensemble for lots of players. We need 1 SNARE, 1 BASS DRUM; 1 BELLS/MALLETS/VIBRAPHONE PLAYERS! players! This is what is going to happen:  The Group Admins will assign a song and then we will create a Musescore of it. Once we have done the Musescore score, we will assign the song to everybody! Then everybody has a choice either to video record yourself play or create an audio recording. If you do a video record, when we make our final video and we combine all of the audio, there will your video of you playing! You may wonder, how will we play all on the same beat? Answer: Everybody will have a metronome on and have a earbud in their ear and play along with the Metronome. Everybody will turn in their audio recording and me and Edward and Major and Minor will make the video, OR IF ANYBODY IS A VIDEO EDITOR!! and we MIGHT make a YouTube channel and start our awesome project! Remember if you do not want to be on camera, just audio record yourself! We are going to have so much fun! Please Join!
