How to have different timings in the left and right hands

Hello,

I'm trying to transcribe a measure in Chopin's Op 64 No 1 Waltz.  The timing for the piece is 3/4, however there is a measure that has 4 quarter notes in the right hand.  I've been able to get MuseScore to show it by creating a custom tempo for that measure, but there is an invisiable rest, and I can't get the spacing right in the left hand.

See the link below for a picture.

Thank you your help!

Embedded iframe with YouTube recording fails in some web browsers

This is a problem which has existed for quite a while, and it would be good to sort it out definitively.

Many of us use the "Share" option to embed an HTML "iframe" of the MuseScore player in our own website. It's really useful for making practice files for choral societies and church choirs.

With a MuseScore file that creates its own playback, it usually doesn't matter which web browser you use: it plays normally.  But if the score is sync'd to a performance recording on YouTube as the default sound source, then the playback doesn't work on all web browsers.

Here is the result of a test of various browsers which I ran today:
-  Chrome 73.0.3683.75  = broken
-  Edge 42.17134.1.0 = broken
-  Firefox 65.0.2 = plays ok
-  Internet Explorer 11.648.17134.0 = plays ok
-  Opera 58.0.3135.107 = plays ok
-  Vivaldi 2.3.1440.60 = plays ok

You can run the test yourself on my HTML page, where the SATB player is linked to a YouTube performance by Birmingham Conservatoire Chamber Choir:

I like water

water is the one compound that breaks the law of both physics and chemistry, water expands when it freezes, hot water freezes faster than cold water, the molecule H20 is the 2nd most common molecule found in the universe, the water we have in our body probs been in the dinosaurs b4, water droplets can move up a vertical surface if pulled by other water droplets, water entered our planet millions of years after our planet was formed//////

Android MuseScore app fails to open MuseScore files

The MuseScore app (with the integrated Songbook functionality) fails to open MuseScore files (e.g. on the file system or as e-mail attachments). The MuseScore app is simply not suggested as an app to open a .mscz file with.

Any other users having issues with this?

The good old MuseScore Songbook app (not available anymore for new users) doesn't have any problems with that on my Android devices.

Create or save edited instrument - string tunings

I am using MuseScore to convert folk tunes in notation to Tenor Banjo tab, adding a banjo tab stave then copying the notation stave to the tab stave - a great facility, very easy and convenient to use.

I have not found a ready made banjo setting that has strings tuned G,D,A,E in the MuseScore instrument list, so I have to edit each string each time I add a banjo tab stave. Can I save my string tuning to MuseScore as a new or edited instrument?

Still a lot of bugs in songbook!

- Transfer of musescore songs via Airdrop does not work as it used to before. As a workaround I have to use a USB-cable and iTunes for transfer of songs from Mac Os to IOS.
- Not all formerly transmitted songs don't shine up in songbook.
- In version 2.1.15 the mixer for switching instruments on or off and adjusting volumes doesn't show up. There is an empty white space.
- Hyphens and Underline in Lyrics look ugly as a bold black bar.

I'm still not able to use songbook in choir rehearsals as I used to do before the last big update was released. I'm very disappointed because I paid money for the features that are vanished now and are not yet reproduced!

Besides some technical glitches... I wanted to ask for a feature, to inform people when handling scores on groups

Latley I had to remove a score from a group of mine, but as I did, I happened to miss to remember the person who uploaded it. So when the score was gone I sadly wasn't able to inform the uploader, why I removed his/her score.
Would it be possible to have an option to write some lines to the person when such things happen? Like an optional message while using the remove button?
